“TELL ME why I agreed to this again?” Marco asked from the back seat.
I saw Rome rolled his eyes. “Because you have nowhere to go and you actually lowered your pride — which is very very unusual of you. So, yeah, suffer from the consequences,” Rome answered in a scoffing manner. They were bickering ever since we got out of the hospital, which is starting to annoy us, especially when Kierra keeps on adding up to the noise.
“Shut up, faggot,” balik ni Marco.
Rome got silent with what the former said. Naramdaman kong biglang itinigil ni Charcoal ang sasakyan at tumingin sa rear view mirror.
“Stop being insensitive, Marco. Rome is suffering from a lot of things and that includes homophobia. Why don't you ceasefire for a while?” Charcoal voiced out. Rome was still silent while Marco smirked in disgust.
“Well, I'm suffering, too. I can't stand breathing the same air as him! Bakla 'yan! Hindi ba kayo nandidiri?”
My mouth went agape for a second. I saw Charcoal tighten his grip around the steering wheel. “If you can't stand breathing the same air with him, then why did you agree to come with us in the first place?” Coal asked, gritting his teeth.
“I don't have a fucking choice, you know,” may diing ani Marco.
“Then you also don't have a choice but to tame that homophobic behavior of yours,” Coal fired back. “And to say the truth, disrespectful beings are far more disgusting than homosexuals,” he added.
Natahimik na rin si Marco ngunit palihim pa ring nagrereklamo. Napabuntong-hininga ako sa bigat ng sitwasyon. Hindi ko inaakalang magiging ganito ang mga pangyayari nang makasakay kami sa sasakyan. Later on, we arrived at a coffee shop.

That was what's written above the establishment. I don't have any idea of why we're currently walking towards the entrance of the café, but as what's obviously stated, maybe we'll stop by for a drink.

The warm greetings made me smile for a while. The waitress then ushered us to a vacant table.

“They're my friends, Kezeyah,” sagot ni Charcoal. Napatingin sa gawi ko si Kezeyah kaya matipid akong ngumiti sa kaniya.
Tumango ang babae at ngumiti rin. “I'm glad you found them.”
