QUINN LOOKED AT HER PHONE, IT WAS NOW PAST ONE IN THE MORNING. "shit." she muttered to herself. "i gotta get back to wilbur's place." she said to george.

they were now walking down the street side by side, sharing ice cream together. "it's too late, just crash at my place for the night." george suggested, making quinn give him an awkward stare. "i-i don't have any clothes to sleep in." she made up an excuse. "just wear something of mine, tell wilbur you're gonna be at my place for the night," george put a hand on her shoulder. "it's too late for you to go back there, it's a long drive."

"okay, okay, i'll stay at your place." quinn said before sending a quick text to wilbur saying she'd be back at his place in the morning.

the moment she stepped foot into his apartment, she realized almost nothing had changed. maybe a few picture frames were added, but it seemed to be the same old apartment as it was before.

"nothing's changed, i see." she smiled, looking around. she watched as a small greyish-white cat made way towards her. "hello there." she gasped, kneeling down to pick up the kitten. "she's so precious." quinn pouted, looking at george with a wide smile as she held the kitten in her hands.

"that's luca junior." george smiled, wishing he could take a picture of the two. "perfect name." quinn grinned placing the cat down on the floor.

quinn watched as george sat down on the couch, she followed him, but had tripped over something lying around on the floor. she ended up on george's lap, almost in a straddle position. "ouch." george groaned at the unexpected crash. "oh god." quinn laughed in embarrassment, feeling george's hands move from her upper stomach to her hips. "i'm so sorry." quinn said, burying her face into george's neck as she giggled to herself. soon george began laughing alongside her.

they both stared at each other for a moment, before quinn had completely snapped out of it. she jumped off of his lap, standing up and looking down at him. "i'm gonna go change into something more comfy." she said, walking away and into his bedroom.

this was a familiar place to quinn. when they were dating, they usually would hangout in his room, or quinn would sit in his bed as she watched george stream with his friends. she used to love watching her boyfriend do what made him happy. she enjoyed every minute of it, and missed all the moments.

after a few minutes, the two were dressed. "i'll go sleep on the couch." george said, grabbing a spare blanket and pillow from his closet. "george." quinn scoffed at his actions. "we dated for over a year, i think we'll be able to share a bed with each other for one night." she said, watching as he nodded. "yeah, you're right."

quinn got into the bed first, slipping under the covers. she watched as george joined her, laying beside her and turning to face her.

"hi." she let out a breathy sigh, smiling slightly. "hi." he said back, admiring her beauty and all her features.

quinn's gaze diverted between george's eyes and lips. she let out a deep breath as they both sat in silence, just staring at each other.

"quinn," george said, quinn let out a hum in response. "can i kiss you?" he asked, watching as quinn's eyes widened.

fuck.
