xvii. airport

QUINN STOOD OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT. tommy, tubbo, wilbur, and george were there to drop her off. it was time quinn flew back home, but in all honesty, she didn't want to leave britain.

she first said goodbye to tubbo. giving him a hug as he had a sad expression. "i love you, tubbo." she smiled as tears filled her eyes. "i love you too." tubbo sadly smiled back.

tommy stood there silent, staring at the ground. "tommy." she sighed sadly, a tear streaming down her cheek. he looked up at her, she noticed his eyes were wet.

quinn had never seen tommy get emotional before, especially about her. "come here." she said, opening her arms. he hesitantly hugged her, letting out a loud sigh. "i'm gonna miss you." he mumbled into her ear. "i'll miss you more," she said looking at him. "but i'll be back soon. i promise." she said, holding out her pinky. he then held out his pinky, linking it with hers. "i love you." she said, giving him one more hug. "i love you too, quinn." he said.

quinn turned to wilbur, who was already holding his arms open for her. "thank you for making my trip amazing." quinn spoke. "thank you for keeping me company." he replied. "come to america soon, yeah?" quinn suggested, looking up at him as he smirked. "i'll think about it." he nodded. "bye, i love you." she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "love you too, text me when you land."

it was finally the moment quinn absolutely dreaded. she had to say bye to george once again. she stared at him before wrapping her arms around him. "i don't want to leave you." she mumbled into his chest. "i don't want you to leave either." he said, resting his chin on the top of her head.

the girl was scared of what would happen between them once she was gone. she didn't know if they'd fall apart or stay together, and she was scared to find out what would happen.

"hey," he looked down at the girl. "we don't have to count this as a goodbye, just consider it as a see you soon." he smiled softly, wiping her tears away. "see you soon, i guess." quinn sadly smiled. "i love you, have a safe flight." he smiled, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.

"i'll miss you," she said. "a lot." the girl frowned. "i'll miss you a lot too, but remember this isn't a goodbye." he comforted the girl, giving her one more hug. "i love you, i should go. see you soon, george." she said, giving him a cheek before entering the airport.
