"Normal kids get normal childhoods. They get grandparents, they get reliable friends, and so on. Well, if you think about it, by the time your about 17 it really shows what type of childhood you had. As for me, my childhood was filled with loving parents, a murderous laboratory, and supernatural powers."
Far away in an alternate dimension was a school for the supernatural, Next Gen Academia, or NGA. The school held many strange teenagers. Five of those were the children of the greatest supernatural beings of their time.
Noel. She was born into the arms of Nine and Eight Mahlori. She held her mother's powers, healing.
Token. Joey and One Mahlori's son. He held his fathers power, mind control.
Lila. Eleven Mahlori's daughter. She held telekinesis, her mother's power.
Nokkusu Naoko "Knox". Seven and Seventeen Mahlori's son. He held a mix between his mother and father's powers. Time Manipulation, and an unknown ability.
Adyn. Five Mahlori's daughter. She holds her fathers as well as her mother's power, Teleporting and Fire manipulation.
These five teenagers were about to bring a whole new generation of supernatural abilities, they just didn't know it yet.
OPERATION SUICIDE: THE START
She moved her dark red hair out of her face, her teeth clenched together tightly.
"Another more day of this and I think I'll break." She sighed, leaning back in her chair.
"You can't handle it?" Said another girl behind her, sitting on a bed browsing through a book.
"Of course I can. It's just I have way better things to do than this useless junk." She snorted, turning to face the other girl.
"You sound like your dad." Said the girl, putting her book down on the mattress.
"Really?" Her blue eyes lit up, a glare shining in her red hair.
"Yes. He was so stubborn, yet so wise." She said, fixing the flower crown that lied on her head. "He was a good man, but not many people saw it." She looked over to the other teen.
"I bet. I mean, he did make me, and I'm pretty great." She smiled, clearly joking.
"You're an interesting individual, Adyn." The other girl said, smiling back. Suddenly, someone bursted through their dorm room's door.
"Lila!" They ran over to the girl on the bed, breathing heavily.
"Token?! What? What is it?!" Lila grabbed Token's shoulders, looking into his green eyes.
"Knox got into a fight- I need your help to stop him!" Token panted, hunching over.
"Knox-?" Adyn gasped, looking over to Lila and Token.
"Yes! Now hurry before anybody gets hurt!"They raced down the dorm building's halls. Lila looked over to Adyn.
"Somebody must've done something really bad if Knox is the one fighting them!" Lila told Adyn, trying to keep up with Token.
"I'm kind of invested to see why the fight broke out!" Adyn replied, smirking.
They arrived at the scene. Tons of students were gathered in a ring. In the middle was a short but slender teen with black hair and deep brown eyes. He had light freckling and his right forearm was wrapped up in a bandage. He was battling a tall, slender-looking student. He had brown hair and dangerous-looking yellow eyes. Token, Lila, and Adyn pushed through the crowd, getting to the front where they could clearly see what was going on.
"Knox!" Lila shouted, standing behind the black-haired student. The student looked behind him, seeing his cousin. "What's going on?!" She asked him, slowly inching closer. She could see the anger in her cousins eyes.
"Leave." Knox told her quietly.
"No! This isn't right, Knox!" She told him, bending her knees so she was in a position that allowed her to be ready to fight.
"Leave. I know what I'm doing." Knox growled, his fists starting to glow purple.
"Knox!" Lila gasped, her eyes widening when she saw his hands. Suddenly, Knox let out a burst of energy. A huge wave moved throughout the crowd. As it hit them, their vision turned white and their ears started to ring loudly. They all held their ears, closing their eyes tightly. When they regained their vision, they saw that everyone was on the floor except for Knox, who stood in the midst of it all.
"What have you done?!" Lila gasped, grabbing his wrist tightly.
"It's over now, calm down." Knox plainly said, looking down at her. Lila blankly stared at him, her eyes wide and her mouth open.
"Lila!" Token called her. She looked behind her to Token. "Let's go!" Token beckoned her. She looked back at Knox before bringing him over to the others.
They walked back up through the halls, then into Lila and Adyn's dorm. Lila sat Knox on the bed, moving the book she had there previously. Adyn sat back down in the chair and Token stood next to the bed, looking from Lila to Knox.
"What were you doing out there?" Lila asked Knox, her expression slowly starting to fade to worrisome.
"I.. I was fighting- I don't-"
"Why? Why were you fighting that other student?" Token interrupted him.
"He was vandalizing one of the walls.." Knox answered, looking down at the carpet.
Adyn looked over to Token, surprised by Knox's response. Token sighed, putting his hand on Knox's shoulder. Knox looked up at him, his brown eyes filled with guilt and embarrassment.
"That's up to security to deal with those people." Token told his cousin, pressing his lips together.
"I know." Knox quietly responded, wiping away dirt from under his eye. Lila looked at Knox with sorrow.
"He was only trying to help." Lila told Token.
"He could've got us thrown outta school! Do you know how mad his mother would've been if we got expelled?" Adyn said, anger filling her blue eyes. They all looked over to Adyn, surprised by her harsh tone.
"He meant good, Adyn. Don't do this to him!" Lila narrowed her eyes, looking at the red-haired teen.
"I can do whatever I want!" Adyn angrily replied. Suddenly, Adyn seemed to freeze in time. Lila and Token widened their eyes. They both looked over to Knox. Blood dripped from the bandage on his arm.
"It was time she stopped talking." He plainly said, still looking at Adyn with focused eyes. Token clenched his teeth together, looking from Knox to Lila. They all took a walk around campus that sunset. Lila and Token were in the front chatting, while Knox and Adyn were quietly walking in the back. Adyn would occasionally glance over to Knox, only to see that he was just looking down at the cement as he walked. All of a sudden, someone pushed in between Knox and Adyn. It was Noel, their final cousin.
"Heya, guys!" Noel smiled, looking from Knox to Adyn.
"Hello, Noel." Adyn greeted her. Knox quietly looked up to Noel, his rich brown eyes fixing on her bouncy personality.
"What's new?" Noel asked Adyn, giving a contagious smile.
"Nothing much." Adyn replied, shrugging. Noel looked over to Token and Lila before running up between them and started talking. As soon as Noel left, Adyn looked over to Knox and narrowed her blue eyes, her teeth clenched. Knox saw Adyn and gave a confused look back, raising one eyebrow.
"you know something that I don't, you rat. It's bothering me greatly." Adyn quietly said so only Knox could hear.
"The only thing that I know that you don't is that your a worthless little baby." Knox replied, also speaking very quietly, as he always does. Adyn narrowed her eyes even more, holding herself back from starting a fight with her cousin.
