Noel walked into Team Nokkusu's tent. Erin lied in his sleeping bag, starring at the ceiling. He had a rag covering half of his face. She sat down next to him, carrying a white briefcase. Erin looked at her, clenching his fists.
"A bear attack is nothing to joke about!" Noel smiled, opening the briefcase.
"I should've seen it coming." Erin grumbled, exhaling.
"It was dark. Nobody has super senses! Not even the most skilled warrior would've been able to detect the bear coming." She said, taking the rag off of his face. A huge gash stretched down the side of his face. Noel put her middle and index finger of the wound, closing her eyes. It was suddenly healed into a scar. Erin felt the insane sensation as the wound was healed, his eyes widening. Noel smiled, reaching into the briefcase. She wrapped half of his face up in a bandage.
"A fresh wound is a fresh wound, even if it doesn't look like it." She told him, closing the briefcase. "You can take the bandage off in a couple days when I know that the wound is safe from any bacteria." She stood up, cheerfully looking down at her patient. Erin sat up, looking up to Noel.
"Can I still train?" He asked her, blinking his only visible eye.
"Just don't get your face wet or dirty!" She nodded, walking over to the exit of the tent. Erin blankly watched her leave. Leslie grabbed Erin's shoulder, turning him over to her.
"I'll take you to the river soon so we can train there." She told him. Erin nodded, slowly standing up. Leslie also stood up, still looking at her teammate. Erin nodded once more, turning to the exit. He walked out of the tent, Leslie right behind him. Everyone was chatting around the site, some sat on the logs and some stood next to the tents. He sighed, walking over to the campfire.

OPERATION SUICIDE: TRAINING DAY

That night, the teams had a meeting around the fire.
"We need to toughen up if we're planning on beating the lab!" Aydn looked at her fellow commanders.
"How do you know? We've already killed a cougar, bear, and tons of deer and ducks!" Token said, looking from his recruits to Aydn.
"Already we have an injured soldier and it was only from a bear!" She looked over to Erin, who was sitting next to his commander.
"You leave him outta this!" Leslie yelled, scrunching her nose. Aydn spit into the fire which made it grow bigger.
"I was only injured because it snuck up on me!" Erin yelled, his blue eye filled with fury.
"You don't think that someone will sneak up on you in the battle field?" Aydn asked him, rather calmly. Erin narrowed his eyes, looking over to Commander Nokkusu.
"Enough Aydn. He's still in training." Knox said in a low voice.
"You better train your recruits better, Naoko. We rely on each team deeply to win this war." She said, shifting her view from Erin to the commander.
"We still have awhile before the war begins. We all have time to evolve and get better." Leslie spoke, defending her team as much as possible. "If it wasn't for Commander Nokkusu, you would've been eaten by that cougar." She added. Aydn opened her mouth, no knowing what to say. She looked over to Knox, who was blankly starring at her.
"You're lucky I gave you your own team, Naoko. You were about to leave us to die." Aydn said, the fire glaring against her eyes. Knox looked at the ground, his narrow eyes closing.
"I realized that you need me more than I thought." Knox said, looking back up to the fiery commander. Aydn looked at him, rolling her eyes in her mind.
"Mhm, sure." She smirked.
"Guys, please. How are we ever gonna kill the lab if we can't even have a nice conversation?" Token said, looking at the arguing commanders.
"He's right." Knox growled.
"Aydn lost her privilege to talk during this meeting. Would anyone else like to speak?" Lila said, looking at all of the soldiers. A hand raised from the back of Token's recruits. She made her way to the front. Erin gasped, realizing it was his little sister, Arcadia. She was the youngest recruit in the whole operation.
"I would just like to wish every team luck." She said, not even acknowledging her brother. "I also wish to say that I do have family working in this operation, and it would be a shame to see them die." She said, looking over to Erin. "But I guess we can't help it, can we?" She sighed, pressing her lips together. She stepped back into the crowd. Erin watched her emerge into the crowd again, his eyes wide. Lila nodded, comprehending every word that Arcadia spoke.
"We will focus on training tomorrow! Make sure to get a lot of rest so you will have enough energy!" Lila announced, looking at the soldiers. They nodded, their eyes filled with commitment. "Meeting dismissed! Get to bed!" Lila told them.
