"So you're telling me that these.. Americans are planning to put a toddler.. who's like.. four?In a political stance.. unironically?" King George sighs out, dramatically falling backwards into his thrown
"Yes, your majesty-" Samual confirms, speaking softly as if he doesn't want to anger his king anymore then the news already did
"And how did you hear this nonsense?"
"I h-heard it out in public-.. it might just be a dumb rumor-"
"No." King George interrupts, "anyone stupid enough to want freedom from my beautiful country is dumb enough to put a child in charge."
"you're right, King George.."
George watched Samuel stand up straighter so he scoffs and looks down at his royal ring before speaking
"Let me get this straight." I start
"Yes, your majesty-"
"They decide to start a war with their own beautiful, perfect country to gain this.. freedom they wanted." "Yessir-" "then not only did they preform treason against us, they cheated with France which gave them the upper hand and we had to.. I don't want to say it."
"I understand sir-" Samual states
"And now they have their own.. country.. and their own president and government and all of this.. crazy stuff.. but now they're putting a four year old in charge."
"That is a bit silly, isn't it, your majesty?"
"It's.. intriguing.. how can a president.. the man in charge.. be so foolish to do something so stupid?.."
Samual nods gently like he's listening
"what comes next? they've been freed. Apparently they don't understand how hard it is to lead a country if they put a toddler in charge of anything!.. They'll crumple. They'll be mocked and laughed at."
"You're absolutely right, sir!"
King George laughs, putting his hands on his knees and leans forward confidently, "did you by any chance catch the toddlers name?"
"I think his name is Alexander-.. I did not catch a last name-"
"Their own country will hate them for the chaos they'll cause, and they better not crawl back to me."
George laughs loudly at himself before calming down and chuckling, looking Samual dead in the eyes
"They're on their own."
