Third Person POV

"Good evening lady's and gentlemen! You could have been anywhere in the world tonight, but you're here with us in New York City!.. are you ready for a cabinet meeting?!" Washington exclaims to the crowd

The crowd cheers loudly before I hush them down

"So tonight, the issue on the table is that Secretary Hamilton plan to assume state debt and establish a national bank!.. Secretary Jefferson, you have the floor sir.." i motion Jefferson to go ahead a speak.

"on the Declaration of Independence, it has written, 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.' We fought for these ideals, we should not settle for less. these are wise. words. and enterprising men wrote them!.. and I should know. I wrote them."

Hamilton sits on his desk, swinging his feet back and forth while he listens to Jefferson's "nonsense" as he would put it.

Jefferson was looking for a reaction out of Hamilton, but he didn't get one.

"Oww.." Jefferson starts back up again, "but little Hamilton forgets. his childish plan would make the government assume states debts. Now, debts.. money.. that'll benefit the very.. seat.. little Hamilton sits."

"That's not true!-" Alexander exclaims, but Jefferson just smirks with satisfaction after finally getting a reaction

"Come on, if the shoe fits, wear it. If New York is in debt, then why should Virginia have to bear it?! Uh, excuse me but our debts are paid, I'm afraid. so don't tax the south 'cause we got it made in the shade."

Madison dramatically fans himself with a tissue and smirks too

Alex goes to say something, but Washington holds up a finger as if he is telling him to wait a second

Then Jefferson gets started back up, yet again

"In Virginia, us southerns plant seeds in the ground. We create. You just wanna move our well earned money around, little Hamilton. This 'Financial Plan' is an outrageous demand and it's to many damn drawings for any grown man to understand."

Hamilton's eyes fill with tears as Jefferson insults his drawings

Jefferson shifts to face the crowd and raises his arms, "stand with me, in the land of the free. Pray to God we never see Hamilton's plans when he grows up- so look.. when Britain taxed our tea, we got frisky. Imagine what's gonna happen when they try and tax our wiskeyyy.."

Jefferson chuckles softly before walking over to Madison and giving him a little high five

"Thank you-.. Secretary Jefferson.. Secretary Hamilton, your response.."

"Thomas." Alexander starts, "that was a real nice announcement, but welcome to right now. we are running a real nation. Would you like to join us?.. or stay mellow doin' whatever the hell it is you do in Monticello?!"

some of the crowd gasps at hearing Hamilton curse so loudly, but yet some also cheer for him

Hamilton stands up on the desk and looks at Thomas, "if we assume the debts, the union gets a new line of credits.. how do you not get it, old man?! If we are angry and mean, the union gets a boost. Would you rather give it a sedative?!"

Hamilton takes a deep breath and stops his foot hard against the wood on the desk, "did it ever click in your old timey brain that maybe your debts are paid because you don't pay for labor?! You want to say that you plant seeds in the south and that you create, but keep ranting. we all know who is really doing the planting."

Jefferson gasps loudly and stands up

"And don't you dare teach my about the war, Jefferson!- you didn't even fight in it! Or were even around to help at all!- you're not scary, butthead!- you think I'm scared of you, while people were off dying, yet you were getting high with the French!-"

The crowd gasps and then doesn't say anything

"Washington-" Madison starts quietly, "calm the little boy down-"

Hamilton's face goes red and he looks at Madison, "Hey! You're as mad as a hatter!- go take your old people medicine!- you're in worst shape then the national debt is in!-"

Washington stands up, "Hamilton. Young man-"

"you're sitting there useless as two shits. Jefferson, why don't you bend over and I'll show you were your shoe fits?!-" Alex yells loudly

Washington gasps loudly and slams his hands down, "Excuse me?! That's enough!- Madison, Jefferson, take a walk- Hamilton, take. a. walk. Sorry lady's and gentleman, we will reconvene after a brief recess. Hamilton!-"

"yes, sir?-"

"a word."

Washington gets up and motions Hamilton to follow him. Alex jumps off the table but has to pass Thomas and James to follow him

"Boy. You won't have the votes. you dont have votes." Madison starts, "you're gonna get congressional approval and you won't have the votes." Jefferson finishes off

"God, he's such a miss.. it makes me wonder why I even bring the thunder.." Thomas chuckles under his breath

"Why he even brings the thunder!-" Madison repeats so Alex heard it

Alexander heard it all, but walked right pass to Washington

"yes, sir?-" Alex started, but flinched at Washington started to yell, "do you wanna pull yourself together?!" "I'm sorry, but these old men are ancient- like super old- they're too old to understand what-"

Washington interrupts him, "I'm older then both of them, Alex. so watch. your. mouth."

"So I have to let them be rude just because they're grown?!"

Washington sighs and rubs his own temples gently, "just-.. you need the votes-"

"No, I need- we need bold strokes- we need this plan!-"

"No, you need to convince more folks!"

Alex groans and throws his hands down, "but James Madison won't talk to me! He thinks I'm too young!-"

"Being cute and coming in here is easy, young man. Governing harder." Washington states

"but- they're being- being- intransigent?-"

"Good word- and you need a compromise."

"But- but Washington, they don't have a plan! They just hate mine!"

"Then- convince them otherwise!-"

"And what happens if I don't?! What happens if I just don't talk to them?!"

"Then I'll imagine they'll call for your removal."

"Re-.. removal?" Alexander questions

"It means they'll take you out. You'll go home and you won't be apart of this anymore. You'll stay home for good."

"but- but sir!-" Alex shouts, tears starting to well up in his eyes

"Figure it out, Alexander. If you're old enough to be here, you're old enough to figure out a solution by yourself."
