3rd person POV

Lafayette ran into Washington's tent. Huffing and puffing for air. Washington looked at at Lafayette with eyes wide open

"What's wrong?!" He shouted and he jumped up out of his seat "sir! We need Hamilton!"

Washington sat back down, sighing in frustration

"And you need a shower" Washington shot back, Lafayette chuckled nervously

"Sir, I have got guns and ships for our battle. Haven't I?" "Yes you have, Gilbert"

"And I have done that by going to France. While trying to fight in a war and murdering many"

"What's your point Lafayette?" Washington asked, shifting in his chair uncomfortably

"I'm one of your best solders" Lafayette stated, sitting down in a chair in front of Washington "you are the best. Don't tell anybody"

"Passed Laurens and Mulligan?" Laf asked, a smirk going across his face

"What's going on?" Washington asked, again shifting in the chair

"Hamilt-" "I'll stop you right there. Alex has done enough for our war now. Him and John starting a duel during a war is stupid and won't help us. You're lucky john got to stay"

Lafayette stayed seated. Staring at the general

"Hamilton is like your so-" "stop Lafayette"

"No! I have the right to speak freely sir. Just like you have to send alex home when john did everything!"

Washington got up

"I mean john didn't do everything... but... he did shot somebody. That somebody being lee and he deserved it. Alex deserved to be by your side, not Charles"

"Where's this going?" Washington sat up straight, looking Lafayette dead in the eyes

"Sir. We need Hamilton back" "we can't have him back Gilbert. He's a toddler"

"Yeah he is. Just like you're acting like one. Something you two have in common" Laf muttered

"wanna repeat that solder?" "You're acting like a toddler!" Laf said louder

Washington sat down speechless, then coughed awkwardly. Not really expecting to be disrespected by one of his best solders and son figure

"I have a plan" Lafayette changed the subject "finally something that doesn't need alex"

"He can end this war at Yorktown. All we need to do is cut them off at sea..."

"That's a good pla-" "but! For this to succeed. There's someone else we need"

Laf jokingly wiggled his eyebrows at george. Washington sighed

"I know"

John and Hercules peeked into the tent, slowly entering. Once they were fully enters they looked at each other. They started laughing "Hamilton!" They shouted in unison and raced out as they were spotted

"They're right" Lafayette said. Still smirking. Than banged his fist on the table

"but alex knows what to do! He's smart... smarted then Charles by far!"

Lafayette threw his head back laughing, laughing at his own joke. Washington didn't find it as funny

"Sir, you gotta use him soon. What are you gonna do without him? And what's he gonna do on the bench? Bug Miss Schuyler?"

Washington stood quiet

"You wanna fight for your land back?"

Lafayette said that for one reason. He knew it would get Washington's attention

George jumped in the air

"I need my right hand man back-" "yeah. Get your right hand man back!"

Lafayette patted Washington's back

"Write a letter" Laf said and left the tent. Acting like getting alex wasn't at all his idea

Hercules and John were patently waiting outside. Sitting down on the ground. But jumping up after seeing Lafayette

"What happened?!" Hercules shouted. Grabbing both of Lafayette's hands. "Hmff..." john said

"He's..." Lafayette paused. Looking at the ground sadly

"You didn't hear?" Laf asked sadly "no. We were covering our ears... to build tension..."

"Are we not getting him back?" Hercules asked. Lafayette glanced at john. John was already crying

"We did. I'm just evil" Lafayette said and smirked once again. That got him a playful shove form Herc and a chuckle

John almost stomped of but Herc picked him up

"Put me down" "no, shouldn't have started pouting"

Then they started fangirling

I already talked at the top but guess what? I'm back. Haha you've been fooled. I'd like to thank everyone who has enjoyed this book and written positive stuff that brings up my day.

I just wanted to say. IM NOT CREATIVE 😂 I've been dreading Philip, Hamilton dying, Philip dying, the affair and eta. I'm more creative in my sleep. No joke. I've had some ideas that I might used. If you want to help me, please do. I need desperate help 😂 hoped you enjoyed the chapter
