As the adults made their way to the Patterson's kitchen table, Quinn stood behind to check on the two ghosts. She hated seeing how upset Blake looked.
"You alright?" She whispered to the ghosts, each of them nodding.
"Julie yelled at us and things got pretty heated." Luke said, Quinn frowning.
"She's been in that bitchy mood all day, she'll get over it." Quinn whispered.
Her mother peeked around the corner to look at her. "Quinn hunny, who are you talking to?"
Quinn's eyes went wide, waving her phone and saying "Flynn called me, sorry mom."
Mrs Jones nodded her head, going back to the dining table. "Go, we will be alright." Blake said, shooing the girl away from them so she wouldn't be suspicious.
Quinn nodded as she walked away, going to the Patterson's kitchen table where dinner was now setup.
Luke smiled a little bit, noticing his mother cooked his favorite meal. Lasagna with mashed potatoes.
"I miss them." Emily softly said to Blake's mom when Mitch left the room. "Do you ever wonder if they got to find each other again?"
Mrs Jones nodded, wiping her tears as she chuckled. "I'm sure Blake is keeping all three of those boys in line and out of trouble." She said, emily nodding.
Although Quinn now personally knew the ghosts, she awkwardly sat there and listened.
Until her phone beeped with a message.
It was julie, asking if she had seen the two ghosts. Quinn was quick to reply to the message, yeah they're here. They both seem like a mess though, whatever happened really messed them up. She sent.
Julie sent back a text, begging Quinn to get the two ghosts to the studio along with herself.
Hesitantly, Quinn peeked behind her and saw the two ghosts then looked at her mom. "I'm sorry mom, but there's an emergency at julies and she needs my help.." she said, standing from her seat.
"Oh is everything ok?" Her mother asked before she had the chance to go.
"Yeah, it should be alright within the hour. Bye mr and mrs P, bye mom." Quinn said making her way to the front door.
The two ghosts followed her outside, hearing an emergency being mentioned.
"Is everything ok?" Blake asked Julie as they chased the girl down the block.
"You guys need to go back to the studio, Julie needs you."
"Julie is mad at us Quinn!" Luke said, frowning towards the girl. "She blamed Blake for us bailing on her. I'm not ok with that."
Quinn nodded. "You think I am either? Just come and hear her out." The blonde girl said as they approached the studio.
As they entered, Julie was sat at the keyboard, Alex at his drums, and Reggie holding his bass.
"What's this? Julie?" Luke asked, shocked to see the girl.
"Grab your instruments, we have work to do." Julie said, Alex and Reggie smiling at the two ghosts.
Blake smiled and sat down on the couch, each boy looking at her funny. "What?" She asked, looking at them.
"Get your cute little ass off that couch and grab a mic." Luke said with a smirk, tossing Blake a microphone.
The two living girls smiled as they notice Blake gain interest. "What song?" Blake asked, stepping over to Luke and peeking at the song he had opened.
"I was thinking finally free?" He asked, knowing Blake would kill him if he performed her song without permission.
Blake nodded, turning the microphone on and smiling. "From the top?"
"Wait I don't know this song.. the gig is tonight." Julie said, the boys laughing.
"You'll catch on. We only learned it an hour before our gig too." Alex said.
Blake stepped over to the keyboard where Julie stood, "may I?" She asked, Julie stepping aside to let the girl play.
Quinn was excited to hear her sister sing in person, only having listened to her recording and her thriller moment.
The band played their song for the girls, acting as if they were at the gig during that moment.
Both Quinn and Julie were mesmerized by Blake's voice. The angelic rockstar vibes it had brought them joy.
"Wow.." Julie said as the song came to an end. "I don't know what was better, the song to Blake's singing. Who wrote that song?"
Reggie shook his head as the three boys chuckled. "Blakey over here wrote it" he said, Blake giggled.
"Yeah yeah, I'm just the best writer in the band." She said, flipping her hair and smiling.
Luke raised an eyebrow. "Hey! What about me!" Luke said, crossing his arms.
Blake smiled and gave Luke a kiss on his cheek, "what about you?" She teased. "I'm kidding, you dork."
Luke smiled and gave her a hug, leaving an arm over her shoulders when they pulled away.
"So, how are we going to do this?" Alex asked.
Julie nodded, agreeing with Alex's question. "We all know one thing. Blake must sing lead with Luke. I'll stick with keys."
"Yeah! And I'll play my bass!" Reggie said, Blake hiding her face into Luke's arm as she laughed.
"Oh Reg, what would we do without you.."
