After Blake's time being in her bedroom, she decided to leave at around 3:00. She figured Luke filled the others in on what had happened, meaning a visit would be coming soon and that wasn't what she wanted.
So, she poofed away to roam the streets of LA again. Seeing the new atmosphere was calming to her. Nothing was going to get in her way.
Until something actually did.
"Not you again.." she said as the tall man helped her up.
"I see we've been bumping into each other often, must be a sign." Caleb said, chuckling at himself.
Blake nodded. "Yeah.. um, I guess. Look, are you Luke following me or?"
Caleb shook his head and laughed again. "Don't be ridiculous! But, now that I have bumped into you again, I should show you my club here in Hollywood." He said, holding out his hand for the girl to take.
Hesitantly, she placed her hand into his and was brought to the infamous Hollywood ghost club.
"Wow.. this place is awesome." She said, looking around in awe.
"I know right. Now let me introduce myself now that we are actually here." He said putting his hand out for the girl to shake.
"Caleb Covington, owner of the Hollywood Ghost Club." He said as Blake took his hand again to shake, a purple stamp being placed onto her wrist.
"What the hell is that?" She asked, trying to rub it way.
Caleb laughed. "Just a club stamp, so you'll be allowed back. But, I did have a question for you."
Blake nodded, waiting for the man to continue speaking.
"Tonight, there's a show and I'm down a singer. My lead actually. I need you to fill in." He said, Blake's eyes going wide.
"How'd you know I sang?" She asked, Caleb laughing at the girl as he continued.
"Your in a band, I've heard of sunset curve, and I've heard of you. Your voice is just what I'm looking for."
Blake nodded. "Well, I guess one performance wouldn't hurt.." she said, nodding her head.
Caleb smiled, and almost evil smirk. "Great! Go rehears, you also have a room here now so here's your key." He said, handing the girl a booklet and a key.
Blake stared down at the two items nodding, then going to speak up. "Wait can I go tell my friends about this? They're going to be worried.."
Caleb shook his head. "I've sent someone out to tell them. But tonight's a full house so no more guests." He said, Blake frowning but still going along with it.
Caleb disappeared from her line of sight, leaving her to find her own way around.
Blake began to walk around the large building, looking for room 4C since that's what her key was labeled.
"Ah! Shit sorry!" Blake said, bumping into a long haired boy and knocking him over.
"It's alright, I deserved it. Did the same thing to some blonde earlier." The boy said, taking Blake's hand as she helped him up.
"Your Blake?" He asked, confusing the girl.
"Yeah? How did you know?" The girl asked, nervously laughing.
"Caleb has been trying to find you to fill in here. I guess he finally did." The boy said, causing Blake to nod.
"This place kinda gives me the creeps.. is it even safe here..?" She asked, being more quiet so she wouldn't get into trouble.
The boy leaned closer to her ear as he spoke. "Just watch out for Caleb, hes extremely powerful and overused his power. Did he stamp you?"
Blake nodded. "Yeah, look." She said, holding her arm out to show the boy.
"Oh no.. ok um don't freakout, but that's not good." The boy said, coming to a slight panic.
Blake's eyes went wide, the boy having to cover her mouth before she could scream.
"Your kidding right?! I knew that ass was no good." Blake said, taking the boys hand away from her. "And don't touch me ...?"
"Willie"
"Don't touch me willie." She corrected herself after learning the boys name. "So, am I able to leave this place or..?"
Willie shook his head. "No.. not really. If you leave your going to get these bad jolts that's will eventually kill you again." He said, Blake almost wanting to faint.
"Nice. Just what I needed." She said, walking away to continue looking for her room.
"Wait, what room are you looking for?" Willie called out to the girl.
"4C." She said back, Willie nodding.
"4th floor and the third door to your right." The long haired boy said right before poofing out, leaving the girl to climb all the way up.
"Jesus I should at least be able to poof upstairs.." she thought to herself, legs aching from the four flights of stairs she had just climbed.
Opening the door to her room felt like she was getting a whole new life, the different atmosphere however was making her anxious.
All she wanted was to go Home, or even to the studio knowing that if she just stayed at either place h would be safe from this.
But, fate wasn't on her side today.
