Los Angeles, CaliforniaEmiliana's POV
The boys really outdid themselves with the party.
The lights were overwhelming and I had to smile at the theme they created. Green lights were what illuminated the large room and gold decorations littered the floor and walls beautiful. There was a medium sized fountain in the middle that had blue lights, making the water look more vibrant. White balloons hung in the air with lights inside of them, making a floating candle affect above us.
It was like The Great Gatsby threw up in here. The tables had large vases with feathers flowing in a way so it almost looks like a white palm tree.
Everything was in theme, even the dancers were in flapper dresses, holding fans to their faces as they did their routine to the elegant song. I was starting to feel underdressed in this occasion, but realized everyone was wearing clothes very similar to us.
And yet all this beautiful scenery, Harry's still couldn't leave me.
I knew the red dress would get his attention, but I didn't think it'd affect him so much that he literally can't stop staring at me. I was starting to think it's because I have something on my face that shouldn't be there.
He had a tight grip on my hand as I lead us through the room, seeing as he was way too distracted to even walk the right way. I tried ignoring his stare, but it was too hard since I felt it burn through my skin. His eyes were like green lasers, almost ironic that we were living The Great Gatsby. He might as well be called Green light.
"Found them!" I tell him, making sure he heard me though I doubt it because he looks like he's in a another world right now. I dragged him over to where the boys were standing in their suits. They all looked very handsome.
"There you guys are, thought you wouldn't be coming." Louis smirks, eyeing Harry with the double meaning in his tone. I roll my eyes and stand firmly in the small circle we made.
"You look beautiful, is that the dress Soph got for you?" Liam smiles, pointing to the dress that flows down my body. It wasn't as tight as I thought it would be, and I'm thankful Sophia has an eye for these things.
She was the one who got the dress last minute since I made an executive decision to come here unplanned. She was in LA for work and took her break to find me a dress quickly and I couldn't even try it on before since I had a flight to catch right when she got it for me. So I shoved it into my luggage, praying it'll fit nicely and went off.
James only found out I left when I was halfway there, and I felt bad for letting him know so late but he understood. I have a free pass when it comes to Harry, and I know James respects him a lot. Harry respects James a lot as well, especially because I'm in the care of him when Harry can't be there for obvious reasons.
They've made a friendship out of the common need to protect me, James being a lot more platonic way than Harry's, but they both have the same intention.
It's the same with the boys. Harry expects them to take care of me when he can't and he trusts them with all he has to do so. They've never failed me in that sense and I adore them with all my heart for the past three years now. They all were different in their own way, but showed their love for me one way or another.
They all adore Harry and that adoration was transferred to me the second I was introduced as his best friend back then.
This party showed how much they want to please Harry, and I'm sure they would do the same for any of the boys. It was a known thing that'd they would drop everything for each other.
