X Men Animal Instincts

Ch. 2

                                                   Hayden POV 

The man that stood before me, wore a jacket covering, a muscle tank, jeans a belt buckle, he had tags hanging from his neck, he was muscular, He had scruff on his face, 

He was tall it felt threatening, I kept my head down ears back as I snarled at him, 

"Easy kid I'm not here to rough you up, I'm here to help," He said 

I continued to growl at him, 

"Look I'm just like you," He said 

Then metal claws came out of his knuckles, 

I stopped my growling, and rose my head perking my ears, his claws went back in his hands, 

"That's it," He said as he made his way towards me, 

He was now kneeling in front of me, about to touch the top of my head, when we hear a voice 

"Well well well," The voice I never wanted to hear, 

I started snarling again, 

"Looks like you found our experiment," He said 

The man stood, 

"Experiment?" The man said not sounding happy 

I growled 

"Yes, she escaped a few weeks ago," He said

"Now if you'll kindly hand her over," He said 

"Not going to happen, You people disgust me," The man said 

Before anything could go any further, 

I charged attacking each and every one of the men, either hurting them severely, or killing them, the animal in me was not going back, as I stood on top of the man who made my life hell, I let out a blood curtailing howl, 

I looked at the man, he looked shocked then his face softened, with that I took off running, I ran as fast as I could, 

But my injuries slowed me down a bit, 

I was panting severely then I felt it, the bones breaking into place the fur disappearing, my limbs breaking into place one by one, 

My screams of agony filled the entire rocky mountains, the pain was excruciating, my throat hurting from how loud my screaming continued 

this is why I never attempted to change back human, for so many month, this is why I didn't change into any other animals, I didn't want to feel the pain of transforming the pain of bones breaking, 

by the time it was done I was laying on my stomach sweat falling down my forehead, my breathing ragged 

The entire thing made me so weak, I heard crunching of twigs and leaves but I was too tired to care my vision blurred and my eyes finally closed 

                                          Logan POV 

I tried to keep up with the kid but she was fast, I lost the kid, that was until I heard blood curtailing screams, 

I ran to the screams and see the wolf changing, watching bones breaking hearing them break, the fur disappearing under the skin, she turned into a young girl, and she's umm, naked, 

I take my Jacket off and wrap her petite form in it, she was injured badly, 

I contacted The Professor in my mind, 

"Charles I've got her," I said 

"Excellent," He said 

"She's severely injured," I said 

"Alright, I'll inform Jean," He said 

"Alright I'll see you in a few hours," I said 

I sat her in a seat and buckled her in and flew the jet, making my way back to New York I just hope the kid is alright
