"Clean this clothes, and you'll get pure color. Pour this on a mud, you'll get some stains. Everything is clear with the act of purity and kindness. If you seek and had walked on the wrong way, everything will be hard to go on."
The silk dress that floated around her body flowed like they stayed in one place. The hair that seemed to be in nice care with no stains on them. Her skin that shone brightly like the sun. She was like a goddess. But in any way, for those who had stains in their eyes wouldn't be able to see her grace. Like a moon.
She gave the clothes to the old lady. The lady crawled to her feet. She bowed down her head and touched her forehead to the ground. "Thank you, dear young lady. I knew those words from Gui Zhong wouldn't lie. Oh, how pure you are. May God Qiu Lv protect you." Those words felt wrong to her.
She shook her head slowly and landed her hand on the woman's back softly. "You had not worship for the God himself but the fear as the war between an outsider like me with him," the lady emphasized. "If you seek for peace, then I shall help you."
"And with that, she got another loyal follower."
She ended her small fairytale with a sigh escaped her lips. "So, was she really a Goddess?" one kid asked, as the girl in front of her smiled softly and lovingly to the girl. "Hmm, only the one who has a very little stain on their heart can see her true form." The lady replied softly at the girl.
"What happens next after that? Did the war happen? Did the Xia Xing belong to her?" the girl asked more curiously. "Maybe that will be for another time," the lady answered the girl. "Alright, Xing, it's over. You should go to Wangshu Inn now. Here's your pay."
The voice of an old lady rang to her ears. The groaning and pouts were heard from the younger children who had listened to her attentively. But the girl, Xing, as what everyone called her, could only give a small chuckle. "Alright, Madame. See you guys next time." The girl greeted and stood up from her seat.
She walked to the elder. "Thank you very much for having me, Madame."
The elder nodded her head. She handed a bag full of Moras to her. "Thank you for your tales as well, Xing."
The younger lady nodded her head. Her hands accepted the bag and walked away from the location. How long has she been living like this? The stories from her people and her own that had passed onto generations for years. The story that people of Liyue almost forgot. Even those from her village, Xia Xing, had almost forgotten.
She let out a sigh when the sun hit her body. As she arrived in front of a resident, she opened the gate. Her Hanfu flowed along with her steps, along with her thoughts. The feeling of displeased and disliking filled her.
Just what was it did she not like in this resident? It was none other than the person who worked in the funeral himself, Rex Lapis. "Welcome. I wasn't expecting you."
The dust flew passed her. She didn't sneeze as a reaction. The sun shone from the window and shone on the books. Hence, reflected the shadows of the two Gods. Her once, happy and soft eyes, turned and filled with nothing other than fear.
"Y/n."
There was no reply from her. She couldn't keep up with the happy-go-lucky she had always did. With much feeling of disgrace and heavy heart, she held the chair, beside the immortal man.
She bit her lips together and pulled it. "So, this is how you're still existing in this world?" He asked the girl. The h/c clenched the chair tighter. Y/n sat down on the chair quickly, rather too fast.
"And I assume this is how you try to forget your past."
"Looks like you haven't move on, yet."
Who would move on easily after the chaos and deaths she had hold? Who could sleep with so much screaming and cries lingered in their mind?
