"The breeze today is quite enjoyable, isn't it?" She softly spoke to the air, now that slowly thickened with smoke and fire.
Tears rolled down from her eyes as she quickly wipped it away with her tied hand. The tear that dropped grew some plants. But only to wither soon after they grow.
She remembered everything. Remembered how she and the fairies and adeptis used to talk about the days. Talked about how was the weather, the breeze and the days that they wanted to do together.
Together once the village was at their total peace. No more distractions. The day she wondered, will today, the village she had fight for finally in peace?
She hummed the song slowly and softly. She was stopped by the guard that pushed her frail body onto the ground.
"Sing for the last, witch."

"Why did you call me?"
She flinched on sudden. The wind stopped howling. The Qinxin on her hand fell below the mountain. "C-called you? I didn't do anything," she replied to the question.
The Yaksha stood there. He furrowed his eyebrows. "You blew it didn't you?" His tone was a little bit high. Y/n shook her head. "Maybe," she gave in. It was hopeless to keep denying when she knew she didn't.
Because denying and arguing would lead to no end. "What do you need me for?"
Straight forward as ever. Even at this point, she didn't care anymore about his tone. She was alone on the cliff. "Can you please accompany me?"
"I got something else to do一"
"Okay."
That was simple and short. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. What was she plotting? "Have you ever visited Xia Xing before?" What kind of question did she gave him?
He's an adepti. Lived and protected Liyue for thousand and thousands years. But she had never remembered him visiting.
For recreation while it's at it's peace. But she wondered, what if he visited there without her knowledge. Silence filled them for a while.
He sat on the ground as well. Back facing her. They didn't bother gazing at each other's face. "I did. Once."
"Really? What was it like?" She wanted to know. Though, deep down一she knew how it went.
Because, she was there.
"The time was unfortunate. There was an arson there."
She didn't talk or even move. She was deep一lost in her own thought. "It was such a waste. I heard from people Xia Xing was one of quite a noble village."
"Hm. Maybe."
And so, only silence filled them. They were lost in thought. They let their hair swayed along with the wind to wherever it blew.

"Hm? Romance in the village? Where did you find those things from?" Y/n chuckled.
It was early in the morning. The clock started to ring, sgining it's over for her. Somehow, she couldn't leave her seat once she saw those eyes curioisly gaze at her.
How did she usually escape from those? She had forgotten her trick. Saying 'no' to a child made her feel guilty. But saying 'yes' would do them no good. "U-uhm.."
Her head turned to the counter, only to find the woman chuckling. 'Please help me, Verr.'
"A-alright. Just one more story. Listen attentively, okay?"
