DAVINA WANTS TO DIE.

It's rather embarrassing to run into an ex while on a date. Especially if you have a rather bad history with that ex. Sadly that's the situation that Davina has been placed in and have absolutely no way out of. However poor Taemin have no idea about this man being her ex. So he was confused on her tense and weird behavior after seeing the man.
Nolan on the other hand knew exactly how she was going to act, and wasn't surprised by her behavior. In fact it thrilled him to see her like that. Their relationship was short only lasting them a year. They unfortunately broke up due to the fact of him cheating on her multiple times on multiple different occasions. That's another story for a different time though.
"So I would like to have the shrimp pasta please?" Davina says. She make any eye contact with the waiter, but instead she looked at the menu.
"Of course and what would your drink be?"
Taemin was observing the situation from across. He wasn't dumb and knew something happened between them. It was crystal clear with her body movements and how tense she got when Nolan responded back to her. He wasn't going to question her on it though, because it's not his place to get into her business.
"Just water." Davina wanted this conversation to end quick so she kept her response short.
Nolan then turned his attention to the king who sat in front of her. He couldn't lie he was intimidated. Who wouldn't be if your ex was all of a sudden dating the king.
"And for you sir?"
"I'll would like the Garlic Parmesan Risotto with a bottle of Merlot please." Taemin requests looking him directly into his eyes.
"Of course, I'll be back with your food." Nolan rushes off.
Taemin turns his attention back to his date. She seem to relax more now that Nolan was gone. He took the time to admire her face. She's gotten even more beautiful over the years. The makeup on her face highlighting her features that was already there. He noticed that she decided to wear her hair natural for today which did her justice. She was truly a rare sight to see. The moon shining from the window next to them gave her brown skin a glow. He couldn't believe fate was placing him with her again.
"How long are you going to sit there and stare at me?" Davina asks.
"I'm just simply admiring your beauty. I can't admire you?" Taemin raises a brow. Davina mouth opens to let out a sassy comeback but was interrupted by Nolan with their food.
He silently placed their food down on the table and stepped back. "I hope you guys enjoy." He gives Davina one last look before walking away. She winced as she realized Taemin was full on staring at her. She knew he knows that it was some sort of history between the two but she decided to ignore his stare.
After all they're in for a long night.
