"...AND YOU ESPECIALLY CAN'T MISS DESSERT."
Davina was sure the last part of his sentence had a double meaning by the way he was looking at her but she tried to ignore it. She was not going to fall into his trap again. After pulling the chair back she sat back down.
"As much as I just want it to be us two by ourself, it'll be rude of me to not invite our guess to dinner so the y should be arriving shortly." Taemin says. Even if she wanted to respond she couldn't because someone knocked on the large door. The guard who Davina hadn't noticed opened the door letting two people walk in. Taemin stood up to greet them which made her confused on whether or not she should stand too.
"Jaebum and Rosanne I'm so glad you two could join us." Taemin welcomes them with a smile. That's when Davina immediately recognized the girl who stood next to Jaebum. It made her cringe and look away. Jaebum and Rosanne walked over and Davina decided to stand up because she didn't want to be rude. Jaebum was smiling big while Rosanne was giving Taemin a coy smile. Neither of them acknowledged the fact that she was there until they got closer and Jaebum looked at her.
"Oh you must be the other guest Ms. Davina Queen." Jaebum says to Davina hand out his hand for her to shake. "Yes it's nice to meet you King Jaebum." Davina says giving him small bow not sure on what to do.
"Please just call me Jaebum. I heard a lot about you from your friend and the king himself." He says adding on a chuckle. By friend Davina automatically assumed he meant Simone since that's the only friend she knew that actually spoken to him. Then her attention went to the last part of what he said. What do he mean from the king himself? Her eyes flickered towards him but he didn't glance in her direction.
That's also when she noticed someone else attention was on her instead. The same woman who was pleasuring Taemin earlier. Rosanne was looking over Davina wondering what exactly was she doing there. Rosanne knew a little about her of course but she wanted to know what the King wanted with her? This sparked a bit of jealousy in Rosanne but she wasn't going to let it show. It'll make her look weak and she wasn't going to look weak because of a girl she didn't even know.
Everyone was seated at the table after Jaebum and Davina went back and forth over her moving to another seat. Davina thought it was better if Jaebum was seated closer to the King but Jaebum insisted it was fine. It humored Taemin because it was like watching siblings bicker. At the end Jaebum won of course.
The dinner was a bit awkward for Davina due to the fact that she didn't really have much to say. That in the flirting Taemin and Rosanne would do constantly. Then a topic picked up which caught her attention.
"So marriage huh?" Jaebum teased making Taemin laugh. "I figured it was finally time I settled down." He responds his eyes meeting Davina briefly.
"Yeah it's a good thing. Sadly though I'm thinking of not going through with mines." Jaebum says. Davina imagined herself laughing evilly in her head anxious to break the news to her best friend. Rosanne was awfully quiet when the topic up. Well that was until now.
"Got anybody in mind yet Taemin?" Rosanne asked obviously wanting to know what girl he was considering to make his queen. Davina couldn't help but wanting to know too. In fact who wouldn't want to know who he had in mind for becoming queen. Taemin however paused for a moment before answering.
"Maybe I do and maybe I don't." Taemin say cunningly. Everybody groaned at the answer he gave. It was extremely cliche. They chatted for a bit more and then everyone decided it was time for them to head back to their rooms. Everyone exited the room heading their own directions. That's when Davina was stopped.
"Davina do you mind if we chat for a bit?" Rosanne asked.
