CHAPTER TWO

"I HATE YOU."

Davina was regretting the fact that she even agreed to go to the stupid ball with Simone, but it was way too late to back out now. It's the day of the ball and they already have their dresses, shoes and makeup on. There was absolutely no way of backing out of this.

Davina barely even wore dresses so they had to go shop for a new one. That's when she picked out a long black dress with a slit going down the leg part. It was an open area around her chest and was sleeveless so a lot of skin was showing but she didn't care it was her body.

Simone was also dressed in a black dress but with lesser skin showing. It was long and off the shoulders. It matched perfectly with her short height although Davina couldn't make much fun of her height because she was too below average height.

"What time is the ball even supposed to start? Plus how the hell are we getting in." Davina asked Simone confused. "The ball starts at 9:30 it's 9:00 right now so we have time to get there. Davina we're more known than you think so it shouldn't take much for us to get inside." Simone replies adding a little shrug at the end.

"Fine I'm ready to leave whenever you are."

The driver dropped both of the girls off giving them a nod head nod before pulling off. Simone stared at the huge castle in front of them with awe as she watched loads of people gather around the front and walking in. There was lots of flashes of camera and people with microphones itching to talk to the celebrities and the royal families who were attending.

That's when Simone turned to Davina and realized that she was shocked by what she was seeing. "How are you not surprised about how pretty everything looks." If anything it looked as though Davina was already familiar with the place. "I'd rather not talk about it right now." Davina frowns. Simone nods her head accepting the fact that she wasn't ready to talk about whatever it was.

The two girls made they way to entrance and once they made it passed all the interviewers and photographers that's when they reached the security. "Are you sure we're going to be able to get in? It's going to be real embarrassing if they tell our ass to go away." Davina chuckles. Simone rolls her eyes and then laughed. That's when they both finally got face to face with security and without a second though or question they let them through.

"See told you." Simone teased her making her laugh. The outside was nothing compared to what was inside. As they followed the crowd to the ball room they took in all the nice and pretty decorations around them.

"Wow it's amazing."

"Yeah I see."

Davina was trying her hardest not to look too amazed about the nice decor and how beautiful the castle looked. "Looked like things changed." She thought to herself. Then they enter red the ballroom.

A low slow jam played as people stood and talked amongst each other. Towards the front it was a stage center and two Thrones in the middle of it. The thrones however was empty.

"That's weird where's the king?" Simone asked confused on where else would he be. Davina shrugged not really trying to show that she cared about where he was. She just wanted to come and enjoy the ball and then leave.

"How are you two lovely ladies doing?"

Davina raised an eyebrow and turned to look at who was speaking to them. The man was tall and very handsome. He had gray hair that framed his face a bit. He didn't wear a suit instead he wore a black turtle neck that had a grip on his muscles. Davina can feel her mouth start to water and Simone just stared for a second.

"Um we're doing great." Davina answered him not wanting it to be awkward. He smirked before hold his hand out for them to shake. "I just wanted to introduce myself to the beautiful ladies in the room right now. I'm Kim Jongin but you can call me Kai."

Simone snapped out of whatever phase she was in and reached out and shook his hand. "I'm Simone Hart."

"My name is Davina Queen." She says as she shook his hand after Simone was finished. "I know who you guys are." He says talking Davina by suprise.

"Really?" "Yes, you both are very popular right now especially you Davina. I'm not sure why you're surprised." Kai says. That's when Davina began to notice people stare and look in their direction, but she laid it no mind. She wish she did pay it mind though.

"Kim Jongin I hope you're not giving these two lovely ladies a hard time."
