THROWBACK CHAPTER !
Current Ages- Davina (12) Taemin (13)
Davina was full of excitement. At this day and age it's rare to get an invitation to the young prince's birthday party, and somehow her parents managed to get an invite. It wasn't like her family was poor. To Davina, her family was just average and just doing what they can do to survive.
Her mother was known to be an excellent chef. The royal family was even thinking about hiring her, but they already had a family chef that has been in the family for years so they hire her mom for special occasions. Then her father works for the royal army. At that age Davina didn't know much about the army or anything else in that matter. The only thing she knew that her father was a Second Lieutenant, and that he constantly away from home.
Davina was also placed in a private school that was strict but not too strict. She had a few friends but that many due to her poor socialization skills. At the school it was very popular for some of the richer kids to get invited to the prince's birthday party. They also come back to school to brag to the other kids about it. So when Davina received the news from her parents about the invitation she was filled with joy.

When Davina walked inside the castle with her parents she took notice of stuff that you would see a a usual kid's birthday party. It seem more proper and a bit boring to her. She also seen that most kids stuck by their parents and barely interacted with each other. That was until someone got on the stage and told the parents that they can let their kids outside to play and roam around.
"Alright Davina please don't get into any trouble with any of the kids. We don't want another lawsuit on our hands." Davina's mom warns her. Davina smiles sheepishly catching a brief flashback to her cut the little girl's hair off for trying to bully her. She then ran outside to go join the other children.
Now the outside looked more fun. It was a giant bouncy house filled with the younger kids jumping with joy. Then it was two long tables filled with all types of snacks and goodies. Inside the big field was children playing all types of games with each other and laughing. Davina didn't know what exactly to do. It looked like everyone was already grouped together . That was until she seen a crowd of children gathered around someone cheering them on.
The nosiness in Davina caused her to walk to the crowd and find her way to the front of it. That's when she saw a kid dancing in the middle. It's was pretty good but I bit silly too. She watched as all the other kids look at him admiring him. That's when the music stop making the boy and stand straight breathing hard. The kids broke out in louder cheers and the boy only grinned. Thats when she recognized him as the crown prince. Davina turn to walk away from the crowd to find something else to do.
"Hey wait!" Someone shouted. Davina turned to see that he was running towards her. He stopped in front of her and awkwardly pointed to her hair.
"One of your twists is coming apart." He pointed out. Davina reached up and grabbed the twist and realized it was coming apart. She quickly twisted it back and gave him a smile.
"Thanks for telling me." She felt her cheeks heat up, because she seen that some of the other kids was staring. "Happy Birthday by the way.your dancing was pretty cool." Taemin face lit up at the compliment he received from the pretty girl in front of him.
"Thanks! Want to go bounce of the bouncy house?"
"We're not too big to jump on it?" Davina asked.
"You're never too big to bounce on a bouncy house." He says before grabbing her hand and leading her to it.
