"I REFUSE!" Davina crossed her arms and glared at the person she considers her best friend. The girl who's name is Simone sighs and throws herself backwards onto Davina's bed. "But why not?"
Right now you might be confused on what's going on. The two girls live in a kingdom called the Serenity Kingdom but the kingdom is far from serenity. The Serenity Kingdom isn't like the fairytale kingdoms you read in books and watch on tv. It's treated more like a regular city. Although it's treated like an regular city you still have the classes. The poor, middle and upper of course.
Which is why lately there have been riots and traitors in the kingdom, but to keep things from getting too out of hand they build alliances with other kingdoms. Anyways we'll get into more details further into the book.
Their current king Lee Taemin is hosting his annual ball with a big announcement and Simone really wants Davina to come.
"You know exactly why I don't want to go." Davina says and crosses her arms. "Besides how is going to a damn ball going to benefit us?"
"Aren't you curious about the big announcement?" Simone asks. "Plus imagines how many other wealthy people is going to be there. This is how you make connections and further your business."
Davina could do nothing but frown because she knew that her best friend was telling the truth. Her clothing business was doing good but not good enough and this is a huge opportunity to get her business booming. "Fine I'll go."
"Yes!" Simone shouts while jumping up from the bed and squeezing her into a hug. "Ooou I can just imagine Jaebum fine ass being there in his suit." Davina giggles at her friend huge crush on the King from the neighboring kingdom.
"Hopefully nothing happens at the ball that'll fuck up my life."
