Dedicated to Time
Why do you run? Why are you leaving me behind? I've always thought you were by my side. I want to stop you from leaving me.
I want to enjoy the roses in my garden.
I want to see them bloom, but with you I only see them turn purple.
I see my hair losing its bright colors and my hands losing their shape.
Since the beginning and now, end
from being perfect to damaged,
and from new to constantly used.
Many words can describe you... Traitor
For some say you gave them experience and others just pain.
Why is that?
I may say the things you have done to me but you've been my only friend. I'm not like you, Traitor.
You have shown me the struggles of reality, the struggles of life itself.
Even more, you showed me how to appreciate now...
From enemy to lovers they might say. If only you knew all the things I Regret.
What a hard word... Regret. Only a glance at you made my mirror shatter to tiny pieces.
I know you guys are friends but I've always had a thing for him.
For it is him I don't want.
I don't want to look back and see all I didn't say. All the things that I could have done. In a blink of an eye, you might lose yourself and forget who you were.
Time, help me understand myself...
Tick tock... Tick tock
Don't rush me...
I still want to see the sun go to sleep.
I still want to see winter.
I still want to climb the highest mountain.
I still want to dance with the stars.
I still need you...
Time, help me understand myself...
for it is because of you, I don't understand myself.
