I saw your growth like when a caterpillar turns to another. It made my stomach flutter.

If I could hear one last thing it would be you playing the piano. Those tunes were my lullaby.

I never told you how funny you were.
I never told you how your smile made me happier.

Regrets that only my heart knows

You left your friends... and me. You got a new life. A new beginning that didn't involve us, but still we were there. I hugged you one day and didn't expect it to be my last.

You changed, now you were different
and so was I
