"Hoseff!" I shouted as I waved my small hands at him. Nakalabas na ako sa maze. It's a good thing I followed my jerk father. Kung hindi ako sumunod sa kanya, baka nandoon pa din ako sa pesteng maze na 'yon!

"Princess!" Relief was visible on Hoseff's face as he runs towards me. He immediately hugged me nang nakalapit siya sa akin. Mahigpit ang yakap niya sa akin, as if telling me how afraid he was nang mawala ako. I suddenly felt guilty. After some seconds, kumalas na si Hoseff sa pagkakayakap sa akin, he cupped my face as he checks me if may galos ako or something. OA naman.

"Are you okay? Did you got hurt? Where did you run to? You made me so worried!" Nagulat pa ako nang makita ko ang pag-aalala at takot sa mukha ni Hoseff. Mas lalo akong na-guilty. "I'm sorry. I got lost in the maze. Please don't cry, Hoseff. I'm fine." I smiled at him as I wiped his tears. Yes, people! My poor Hoseff is crying! "I promise I won't do it again, okay? I'm sorry for making you worry."

"It's fine, but that's a promise, okay? You won't do it again."

"Yes. It's a promise." I flashed my sweet smile at him, kasabay noon ang pagkawala ng takot sa mga mata niya. Bahagya pa siyang natigilan nang mapatingin sa likod ko. Ehh? Anong meron sa likod ko?

"Father!"

"Your Majesty, a pleasant evening." Humarap kami ni Hoseff sa tatay ko na blankong nakatingin sa amin. Bahagya pang yumuko si Hoseff to show some respects. God! Ngayon ko lang naalala na hinatid niya ako sa palasyong tinitirhan ko. I mentally smiled at that thought. At least hinatid niya ako. Pero kahit ganoon, I'm still not letting my guards down. I won't. I haven't been there to read history books lately because I'm quite busy. I'll make sure to visit it later. Gusto ko din pag-aralan ang mapa na nakita ko noong nakaraang linggo. I bet it's the map of this world.

"Hoseff, how did this brat got out of your sight?"

"Your Majesty—" Bago pa man makasagot si Hoseff ay inunahan ko na siya. I want to defend him. Wala siyang kasalanan.

"Father! It's not his fault, it is mine." Kagat-labing sabi ko habang nakatingin ng diretso sa mga mata niya. "Father, please do not punish him. Punish me instead." Hoseff's been protecting and taking care of me since I was baby. I won't let him be punished for something he did not do. Ako ang may kasalanan. Tanga kasi Nhianix! Ang kulit mo!

"Princess Nhianix..." Hoseff softly called me. I smiled at him, saying I'm fine. That's not a lie, I'm really fine. If ever I got punished, it's fine. I'm used to pain. I experienced a lot in my past life, kahit ang tama ng baril o saksak ay hindi ko na maramdaman. I'm completely numb.
