"Yosh! We're done here! Let's go back Azriel!" I took my book and gave it to Azriel. He took it and the book vanished. "M'lady, you're pretty energetic. Are you that excited for the upcoming festival next week?"

"Of course! Come to think of it. It'll be my first time getting out of the palace premises. I wonder what the Royal Capital looks like." I said and started walking.

"The only problem is, will your father allow you to get out of here?"

I stopped on my tracks upon my realization. Right. Will he allow me? I'm with Hoseff. So maybe he'll surely give us permission. But what if he doesn't?

Why didn't I think of this before?

I want to get out and see the festival!

"Uhh... M'lady, you don't have to get so worked up about it."

"But I really want to go and see the festival though. Don't want to, but I will admit it. Medyo nakakasawa ang pagmumukha ng mga tao dito. Well, except for Hoseff and those two girls of course. Pero sawang sawa na akong makita ang pagmumukha ng mga guwardiya."

"Pfft."

"You don't have to hold your laughter. Baka saan pa lumabas 'yan."

I rolled my eyes at Azriel.

What a crazy peice of crap.

"Sure, laugh all you want. I'll get going now."

"HAHAHAHA—M'lady wait!"

"Welcome back, Your Highness."

"Hoseff. Oum! I'm back."

Lumapit sa akin si Hoseff at pinunasan ang pawis ko sa noo. "Are you tired? There's still a bit time left before your class starts."

"I'm not that tired. Let's have breakfast first. I'm quite hungry." Both Hoseff and I started walking back to the cold palace. Right before we got out of the Royal Garden, not so far away, I saw my jerk Father sitting on a chair, having morning teas with Neon. I stopped on my tracks and stared at them.

They seem... happy.

That jerk Father of mine seemed so relax.

Come to think of it, when I saw him yesterday, he seems a bit tired.

But now, it seems like he's having a pretty good time with Neon. He's all smiles.

I've never seen him smile at me like that before. Well, it's not like we can see each other very often. Pero sa tuwing nagkikita kami, hindi naman siya ngumingiti. He always has this emotionless face.

Hah. It reminds me of myself in my past life.

"Princess?"

"Ahh?" Tumingin ako kay Hoseff. He looked at me and shifted his gaze at father and Neon's direction. I saw different emotions shined in his eyes, emotions that I can't name.

Why?

"Princess..."

"I'm hungry." I took Hoseff's hand and looked at him. "Can we go back now?"
