CHAPTER 26

"Your Highness, where did you hide? I couldn't find you anywhere."
"That's a secret. If I tell you, the next time we play, it's going to be boring." I said and flashed a smile. The game hide and seek is over. Umiling-iling lang si Hoseff at ngumiti. He then patted my head. "Whatever, I'll find you next time."
"You better."
"Nhia!" I heard my brother calling for my name. Tumingin ako sa likod ko and saw Neon approaching us. He seems to be about to go to his training lessons. "Greetings, Your Highness."
"Oh hey. Nhia, I'm going to have my sword training right now. Would you like to come with me?"
"Huh? Why?"
He scratched his head a little bit. Cute. "Training is getting boring these days. I figured out I needed something to boost my desire to train. So I thought you should come with me. With you, it won't be as boring."
That reason was quite unexpected. I'm speechless, to be honest.
I turned to Hoseff. "Can I go?"
"I will accompany you."
"Thank you~"
"Great!" Neon exclaimed. He pulled me by the hand and started running. "Slow down Your Highness!"
*
"We greet Your Highness the Prince and the Princess!" The knights greeted when we reached the training grounds.
"Nhia, you can sit here." Neon said at itinuro ang isang bench na narito lang din sa gilid. I walked there, and with the help of Hoseff, I sat quietly like a good girl. I'm really small, ni hindi nga umabot sa lupa ang paa ko. "Sit here, Hoseff." I said at pinat pa ang pwesto sa tabi ko. Hoseff sat there and patted my head for a bit. "Would you like some water, Your Highness?" A knight asked while handing me a glass of water. I see that ever since I've gotten close to my brother and my jerk of a father, the knights that would usually scowl at me changed their attitudes as well.
"Thank you!" Kinuha ko ang baso ng tubig, feeling the cold from the glass, I gave it to Hoseff. "Hold this for me, please."
"Of course Your Highness."
Neon's training lesson started, and he sparred with one of the knights. For a child, he's pretty skilled. Well, I don't think that's any surprising at all. Given that our family is blessed by the Phoenix Goddess, it's pretty understandable. I can see the fiery mana coming out of Neon every time he moves.
Neon swiftly swung his sword at his opponent, hitting his opponent's hand. "Argh!" His opponent seemed to be surprised, Neon took that chance to hit the sword again, making his opponent lose his sword. Neon won.
For a child, at the age of 4, that's so impressive. But then again, for an imperial child that's been blessed by the Phoenix Goddess, it's understandable. I have to admit, I underestimated the blessings of this Phoenix Goddess at first. But not anymore. Praise thy Goddess. Please forgive my insolence.
