||Ross' POV||
I open my eyes to very bright lights in a room that I don't remember being in before I woke up and then I remember the recurring visions of what happened and why I'm here and where I am. I am in the hospital. I immediately start worrying about Alyssa. I hope she is okay I don't know what I'll do if she isn't. I feel that it's all my fault, if I would've been paying attention it never would've happen and we wouldn't be here right now. A doctor walks in breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Hello son, I'm glad that your awake." he smiles walking over to me and sitting in a chair next to my bed.
"How long have I been out?" I asked worried because I could've been out for like a month or something I don't know.
"Only a few days." He checks his clipboard. "Looks like you are free to go now. You have a few cuts and bruises but not anything severe or anything you need to worry about."
"Okay umm thanks, how is Alyssa?" I ask.
"She is still unconscious, but we think she should be awake in a few days or a few weeks maybe even months we don't know yet." He says standing up.
"Okay thanks." I smile still afraid and thinking about Alyssa.
"Yep you can leave whenever you feel like it." he said.
"thank you, bye." I say getting up and walking out of the room until he stops me.
"Oh I almost forgot to tell you that your family is here to see you, they are waiting in the lobby." He said walking away.
I walk to the waiting area and see everyone sitting in the waiting room chairs doing their own thing. Mom is crying on Dad's shoulder, Justin is playing on his phone, Riker and Rocky have blank expressions on their face staring at the walls although I'm not really sure Riker is staring at the wall I think he is staring at one of the girls who works at the front desk, Rydel is crying on Ryland, and Ratliff is comforting Rydel. I walk over to them and they all get up to hug me.
"How is Alyssa?" Mom asks still crying.
"Umm she is still unconscious and they said she might wake up in a few months or weeks." I said barely able to look up and control my tears.
"Oh my honey I'm sorry. My poor baby." She says talking about Alyssa.
"It's okay I know she is going to get through this, she is my brave princess." I say staying positive.
"I'm sorry man I really hope she gets better, I don't know what I will do without my second little sister." Riker said patting my back.
"Thanks man" I say. "I'm going to take a walk, I need a minute to think."
"Okay honey be careful." Mom says.
"I will mom." I walk to the elevator and then out the front door.
Where do I even begin? I really hope Alyssa is going to be okay, I need her. I've always dreamed of our future ever since we've been together. Like having a big family together, and having a big house with a pool. Just to be able to wake up to her beautiful smiling face everyday and be able to play hide-and-seek with our kids. Man I really hope she wakes up. I miss her already. C'mon Alyssa I believe in you, lets just hope she believes in herself.
I walked back to the hospital and went to the lobby where everyone was.
"Hey Ross can I talk to you for a second?" Riker says coming over to me.
"Sure." he grabbed my arm and pulled me to a empty, quiet area. "What's wrong?"
"Listen we are going on tour in 2 weeks and if Alyssa doesn't wake up before then, we will have to leave her, I'm sorry bro."
Immediately I started to worry. "What why?"
"Listen Ross we have to go on tour that's what you do when your I don't know in a band." He emphasized the words "In a band".
"I know but can't we just reschedule or something she has to go I can't leave her alone."
"Ross she will probably be awake in 2 weeks and if not then we will figure something out okay?"
"Okay whatever."
I walked into Alyssa's hospital room and kissed her on the forehead. "I love you baby goodbye, see you tomorrow."
