Chapter 2

Ross POV

It's been two days since I decided to tell Alyssa I like her. I have kinda chickened out the last few days, but I made up my mind and I decided I'm going to tell her today no matter what.

I got out of bed , took a shower, brushed my teeth, the usual and headed downstairs.

I walk into the kitchen and see Rydel, Ryland, mom, and Alyssa.

"Hey guys." I say grabbing some biscuits to eat.

"Hey honey, how did you sleep?" Mom asks.

"Good."

"Well good. Listen you guys i am going to the store in a few minutes, so if you need anything let me know. You guys can do whatever you want it doesn't matter to me just stay safe. Love you all." Mom says kissing all of our foreheads and going upstairs to get ready.

I sat down next to Alyssa. "what do you want to do today?" I asked her.

"Well we could go to the beach or watch a movie or something."

"Well how about we do both?" I suggested. I really want this day just to be just us so I can finally tell her I like her.

"Bye guys, have fun. love you!" I hear mom yell.

"Okay!" I yell back.

"Well I'm going to get ready so I'll be down here in a few, Okay?"

"Okay." I say laughing thinking about the Fault in Our Stars, how Hazel and Augustus decided to make okay a form of their always. Yep I'm just corny like that. It took her a minute to understand .

"Haha good one." She laughs.

I just love her laugh it's so adorable and it shows her gorgeous smile. I cannot wait until I get to call her mine.

Alyssa POV

I finish getting ready. I have my own room which is really cool since mostly everyone else has to share. Justin and Rydel also have their own room but still. I put on some denim shorts, and a shirt that says yolo with some brown flip flops. I grab my pink bathing suit that has fringe on the top piece with a cute bow on the bottom piece. Then I get my towel, sunglasses, phone etc. and I'm ready.

As I'm walking downstairs I run into a really tired, and upset Riker. He has been really depressed lately because of Sarah. In case your wondering that's his ex she cheated on him, and what I'm wondering is why you would cheat on Riker Lynch? I mean he's cute, loving, he is pretty much the whole package.

"Hey Riker how are you feeling?"

"Well I'm slowly getting better but it's going to take some time." he says.

"Well I'm glad, listen I'm going to the beach with Ross, but if you need me call me. " I say with a sincere smile.

"I will and thanks little sis." he states.

That's the thing between me and Riker are tight. He calls me little sis because we are very close just like the rest of the Lynch family is close to me. Justin and I are pretty much part of the family now. In case your wondering I don't like Riker in that kind of way. That would be like me liking Justin. Eww. Anyway I walk down the rest of the stairs and see Ross staring at the ceiling. He finally notices me when I walk up beside him.

"Hey you ready to go?" he says getting out of his chair.

"Yeperoni."

"Haha your so weird."

"I know. "

We get in the car and head for the beach.

Ross POV

This is it the moment I tell Alyssa I like her. I'm really scared.

I get out of the car and open her car door like the gentlemen I am, and I'll be doing this way more when we date. well if she says yes.

"Thank you kind sir." she smiles.

"Your welcome good lady." I laugh and she does too.

"I think it's m'lady." she laughs.

"What?" I say confused.

" I think the expression is m'lady."

"Oh haha. my bad."

We brought a picnic blanket and set it down. We sit staring at the ocean. It is so beautiful , but not nearly beautiful as Alyssa.

It's time I think to myself , I can do this.

"Hey Alyssa can I tell you something?" I say looking into her beautiful hazel eyes.

"Of course."

"Well I.....

"You what?"

"I... I have feelings for you."
