My One True Love

Chapter 1

Hi my name is Alyssa Finley. I'm 17 years old. Two years ago my mother passed away in a terrible car wreck. I miss her so much, we were so close pretty much like best friends. It may sound weird for my mom to be one of my best friends but we were. Anyway after my mom died all of the sudden my dad started to get really abusive and started drinking a lot. I don't know why because before she died he was so loving and caring. Now me and my brother Justin live with the Lynch's. They were really kind to take us in like that. Stormie and Mark are pretty much our parents now. Well I guess that's pretty much everything let's begin.

Alyssa's POV

After I woke up I went downstairs to eat breakfast. We were having pancakes. Every time we have pancakes it's like a war zone because everyone wants them and they are all hungry and stuff.

"Morning Stormie." I said.

"Awe good morning sweetie, how are you?" She asked.

"I guess I'm pretty good. So I'm guessing we are having pancakes?"

"Yeah and you better get some before the boys are up and it turns into a battle to see who can get them first." She said with a chuckle.

"Haha okay." I walk over and get my food then go in to the living room to eat. As I was walking , Riker, Ross, Rocky,Ryland, and Justin come running down the steps. Oh no poor Stormie she's gonna get trampled. It's sounds like a stampede.

"Hey Stormie watch out here they come!" I yelled

"Hey Alyssa, we heard the word pancakes and we took off sorry." Ross said running in to the kitchen with the other boys.

"Haha you guys are crazy." I said

After everyone ate their food the boys started playing video games. I sat next to Ross and Riker on the couch and leaned my head on Ross' shoulder and spread my feet on Riker's legs.

A few months ago I realized that I have feelings for Ross. I really think I'm in love with him and I want to tell him, but I'm afraid it will ruin our friendship. I've talked to Delly a few times about it and she says " go for it" well I wish I could but it's not easy. I guess I'll just wait.

"Hey are you okay? Because you seem kinda sad." Ross asked me as he moved a strand of hair behind my ear, and looked me in the eye with a loving stare.

"Yeah I'm fine , just thinking."

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"No I'm okay."

"Okay but just remember I'm always here if you ever need to talk."

That's what I love about Ross, he's just so caring and he is always there for you no matter what. I've decided to tell Ross I like him because Delly told me that he liked me back and I know Ross is an understanding guy. I just don't know when is the right time to tell him.

Ross POV

I asked Alyssa if she was okay because she looked sad. "Hey are you okay? because you seem kinda sad." I moved a strand of hair behind her ear and looked into those beautiful hazel eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine , just thinking."

"Do you wanna talk about it?

"No I'm okay" she said and turned her eyes so she wasn't looking at me anymore. I know something's going on with her but I think I'll just let her tell me when she's ready.

Then I said "Okay just remember I'm always here if you ever need to talk."

Two months ago I decided I'm in love with Alyssa , I talked to Rydel about it because she knows about girls since she is one and she said "go for it." So I decided to tell Alyssa I like her I just don't know when is the right time. Especially not right now since she looks sad.
