( June 15th )
Gwin arrived in Durban last night. He booked in a five star hotel for three nights.
When he wakes up in the morning, his heart is throbbing for lying to his fiancé about attending a business conference for two days.
Danisa had no problem with him missing her birthday party, because there are still many more years to come for them to spend together, and when it comes to business, she knows how much it's important to Gwin.
'Happy birthday babe.' said Gwin, over the phone as he got out of bed.
He strutted to the bathroom to take a pee and swish back into the room.
'I'm really sorry again for not being there on your important day babe.'
Gwin gazed over the ocean through the window, and he remembered the last time he was staring at it, with someone he used to deeply care about.
'Okay. We will talk later. I love you.'
Ending the call, he slump back on the bed, realizing how he has emphasized this day more than his fiancé's birthday.
He feels firmly about keeping his promise, and he has a feeling of great surprise up ahead.

Sane glances at her wristwatch, and the time is 14:30hrs. She has been at the Durban north beach since 7am.
She grazed at the edge of the bench with her nails, nervous with a thought of Gwin will betray his promise.
She gets up and wanders around the bench, pondering what she will do if Gwin doesn't really show up. She tangle her lips as she start to feel stupid for even thinking he was going to come back for her.
She slump back on the bench and she sighs, exhausted of her negative thoughts.
"Sane."
She hears a familiar voice behind her. She wriggles and she is astonished when she sees who it is. Her first love. A man she's been waiting for for years.
"Gwin." she murmured his name, and a beam appeared on her face.
Gwin beams back, and Sane gets up quick from the bench and jumps to give him a tight hug.
