(death)

It's a raining thunderstorm night in Pretoria.

Gwin is sitting at the edge of the bed and peering at the wall. His mind was overwhelmed by Sane.

Even though her resemblance towards him had good intentions, he still finds it uncomfortably strange that she hasn't been with anyone else because she waited for him.

Danisa is in the shower while a rumbling of thunder fills the room, startling Gwin, unsinking him from his thoughts.

Shaking his head vigorously, his phone vibrated on the dressing table. It's a number he doesn't recognize and he answers the call.

"Yes." said Gwin, with his quality professional voice.

"Hello Gwin."

The voice from the other line is deep and soft and it is familiar to his ears. He frowns as he realizes it is the woman she has been thinking about just a moment ago.

"Sane." said Gwin, glancing at the bathroom door and then he strode out of the room.

"So nice of you to recognize my voice." said Sane.

She is sounding calm, but Gwin can sense a trace violence in her voice.

"Sane, I'm so sor-"

He doesn't get to finish his apology when Sane interrupts him.

"I didn't call for your pathetic apology. I'm calling to tell you you are going to feel the same pain you left in my heart. You are going to find out how much you have hurt me."

"What do you mean about that Sane?" said Gwin.

Deeply interested about her uncanny words.

"You will find out soon enough."

Sane hangs up, and Gwin is left puzzled, worried, guilty and afraid.

Midnight, Danisa wakes up from her sleep, dehydrated. It's still raining with a thunderstorm outside.

Switching on her side lamp, he rolls out of bed without waking up Gwin. She puts on her gown and goes to the kitchen.

She pulls out a bottle of water from the refrigerator and she guzzles it down simultaneously.

She then hears a creepy giggle echoing in the kitchen. She pulls down her eyebrows and looks around but she sees nothing but kitchen stuff in the dark.

She hears a creepy voice calling out her name.

'Sane'

A crack of lighting makes her agitate suddenly as a shock and spatter the bottle of water, spewing the remaining water on the tile floor.

"Babe is that you?" said Danisa, but the response is another creepy boyish giggle and the voice.

'Sane'

Danisa tells herself she might be still sleepy. Such sounds are usually a performance, in which audiences are entertained by silly tricks.

But she hears the giggle again, and it comes from the living room.

She tiptoes towards the living room, jolting in fear. She stares outside the sliding door, and she only sees the silent thunder lighting brightening the balcony.

She sighs, thinking her illusion might be distorting her senses. Without realizing the illusion she thinks she's having is a distort of her perception of reality.

The lightning cracks wildly and a human figure appears on the balcony, but a human with dwarfism.

Danisa gazes in terror.

The lightning strikes again, and she sees a blackish male dwarf.

The hair stuck up, and the spikes stuck out from the head.

The spiky hair made the dwarf look creepy along with a full unkempt beard and mustache and a facial hair grown on the sides of the face.

Danisa screams in horror and when she turns to run, the dwarf is now right in front of her, holding a knife in the hand.

The dwarf giggles again and Danisa continues to scream, horrified and then the dwarf jumps onto her and she falls down on the floor.

"Help!!! Gwin!!!"

Danisa tries to fight the dwarf with her hands, but it quickly strikes the knife on her, leaving sharp injuries that are damaging the epidermis of her skin.

By the time Gwin comes running down to the living room and switching on the lights, he sees his fiancé on the ground bleeding but no sign of the dwarf.

"Danisa!" he says in a terrying manner, running towards her.

She has puncture wounds, suffocating to death.

The only thing she last says, is the name that the dwarf was calling.

"Sane."

She stops breathing with her eyes open.
