(The Beginning Of Hatred)

A month later, after Gwin's brutal words slaughtered her heart, she took leave at work and she began drowning herself with liquor in her flat.

She curled on a couch in her messy living room. A half bottle of red wine on a desk and a filled glass in her hand. Her eyes are blooded red. She hasn't stopped wasting tears from the contusion Gwin left in her heart. Her curly hair has turned into a chicken's nest. Uncared for.

She takes a long sip from her glass of wine, in a rush to get drunk until she passes out. But no matter how many times she tries to avoid the pain with alcohol , in the morning she will always wake up with her heart still deeply divided into numerous segments.

She stares at the turned-off television, looking at her reflection on the dark screen. She reminisces the time she has turned down the boys who were approaching her. Even the ones who came with good attention.

The boys she crushed on, deprived them from her mind. The intimate experiences she has missed out. The excitement of flirtation she has botched.

All for what?

A guy who failed to keep his promise, who was amusingly clever to fake his love. Having her hymen broken by an asshole she believed he was her soulmate.

All of the depressing thoughts begin to give her a dark state of mind.

'There is no us anymore Sane'

'We need to accept that we are history'

She drinks the wine greedily when Gwin's words echo in her mind. She picks up the wine bottle but doesn't get a chance to refill her glass when a loud knock on her door disturbed her.

"Sane!!"

It's Amanda's voice shouting out from outside, but Sane continues to pour her wine in the glass.

"Go away!" said Sane.

"We are not going anywhere until you open this damn door!"

Andiswa's voice exclaims, and the loud knock continues to disturb her peace of depression thoughts flooding on her mind.

Sane ignores them and sips her wine. She is not in the mood to hospitalize anyone. Another reason she has isolated herself from everything.

Her friends continue to knock for like almost an hour, but she doesn't dare to rise up from the couch.

Her friends eventually give up and Sane hears their footsteps slumping away on the steps.

After a short time, her melancholy mind begins to subdue her emotions. A persistent desire to take revenge on her heartbreaker.

She thinks it's absolutely necessary to make Gwin feel the same dull pain he caused in her heart.

She gets up from the couch in a surge and strides to her room and grabs her car keys from the dressing table.

For the first time in thirty days she is going to see the sunset.

An hour later she finds herself at a village entering a hut, to see a well known powerful witch they call Mam' Mpetha

"What can I do for you lady?" said the witch.

Her face was covered with a segment of a grass mat.

"To punish someone."
