Part 49 | Trust Me

Yesterday

"Minnie." Miyeon called out when she saw Minnie carrying Sophie in her arms. Miyeon cries her heart out it is her first time seeing Minnie after a year of her disappearance. She noticed how thin Minnie was.

She walk towards Minnie with open arms. "If you don't give me a hug right now I will never ever forgive you and welcome you again until I die." Miyeon said and without any second thought Minnie came running towards Miyeon.

They were both silent and sometimes silence is the best comfort but Miyeon needs to hear Minnie's side in order to fully welcome her back om her arms. She misses the younger so so much. Miyeon was about to lower Minnie's scarf when the younger immediately held her wrist stopping her.

Suddenly Minnie break into tears as she leans her head on Miyeon's shoulder. "I can't let you see it." Minnie mumbled.

"Let me." Minnie's grip to Miyeon's wrist loosen as she let the older see how she was breaking as days pass by.

Miyeon traced the crack that formed on Minnie's neck. "When did this start?" She look up to Minnie who was staring at her. "Last year a few weeks before I left you." Miyeon hugged the younger. "Is this why you were being so distant to me and kept on talking about on how would I live when you're already not on my side anymore?"

M I N N I E -

"Yes ever since a small crack appeared on my finger. I felt nervous that I couldn't even sleep. I kept on thinking about it. Am I gonna die? Am I gonna vanish like I didn't existed? those kinds of thoughts keeps on running and running inside my head. Not until another crack appeared on my collarbone." I cup her cheeks as I wipe the tears from her beautiful face.

"I'm your girlfriend don't you trust me?" she asks. I didn't know that she'll still stay. I should've known better. I'm her partner. "If you don't then trust me." she added.

"I love you and always remember that. We are here for you don't keep it all to yourself."

Back to the present

"Soojin." Shuhua tried waking her wife up but the older wouldn't wake up so Shuhua started to pepper her wife with wet kisses.

Soojin flattered her eyes open as she captures her wife's lips. "Get out there or I'll break your door." They heard some banging on the door.

"Is that Miyeon unnie?" Soojin asks as she sat up. Shuhua laugh as she stood up. "Let's shower now before Miyeon unnie breaks our door for real." Shuhua stretch her hand out for Soojin.

The two headed downstairs giggling. "I'm really doubting that those two are your mothers." Miyeon whispered to Sophie as she caress the little girls hair. The little girl just shrugged her shoulders as she continues to eat her jellies.

"Good morning baby." Shuhua kissed her daughter's forehead as she carries the girl on her arms. "Mom it's almost lunch time." The little girl stated.

"It's still morning baby not unless it's already 12 noon. Where's Minnie unnie?" Shuhua asks Miyeon as she eats the jellies that Sophie was also eating.

"Mom get your own." Sophie whined as her mom kept on eating her food. "But I bought this." the little girl glared at her mother. "Okay okay that's all yours." Shuhua surrendered. "About that Minnie is at my house resting. She seems to be exhausted every minute." Miyeon sadly said.

"Don't worry I'll try to ask the others on what we can do." Shuhua assured Miyeon. "The cracks on her body are continuously appearing. Last night she was screaming in pain." Shuhua was worried for her unnie. "Just keep her company unnie. I'll look for an answer to what's happening to Minnie unnie."

Shuhua ask for help from Yuqi. "Don't you think Sorn unnie would be a help? She's much older than us and she has a lot more experience than us." Yuqi stated.

"Sorry to barge here unnie."

"No it's okay." Sorn smiled at the two as she welcomes the maknaes inside her house. "Take a sit."

"Is that so? I don't know if this would be a help but I'll get something." Sorn stood up as she enters her room. She grab the book that was placed on her table.

"This should probably help. That's the ancient history of the angels. Everything that you need to know is written there. I've not really read the whole book."

"Minnie is transitioning her angel appearance is coming out of her. This rarely happens but I think the creator had consider Minnie's sin that was four decades ago. She's on the stage of becoming a human again. Don't worry she won't die within the process though in some at the end others die but I belive Minnie can get through it." Sorn added that somehow lifted the mood of the maknaes.

"No worries besides Minnie is a great friend. Send my regards to her. I hope we can gather together again."
