Part 22 | Ignored

Early in the morning Shuhua came back. She entered her unnie's house but only to be welcomed by Soojin who was still waiting for her at the couch. The maknae didn't know what to do so she passed by the latter going straight to where is the guest room and there she broke down in tears.

She's mad really mad but not to her Soojin but instead to herself for acting like an asshole towards Soojin. She heard a knock on the door but she chose to ignore it.

S O O J I N -

I heard a car stopping outside. "I hope it's Shuhua." I whispered as I sat straight on the couch waiting for the door to open. I fiddle with my fingers and as soon as the door opened I looked at her and she was also looking at me.

Her eyes were blank. I felt scared for a moment seeing her like that. She just walked pass by me. I watch her walk up the stairs carefully. I stayed up all night to wait for her. I didn't even mind about my work now.

I was having an inner battle with myself om whether I should follow her and talk it out or let her be for the meantime. Everything be damned but I won't let this day pass without us talking it out. I walked my up the stair. There was only one guest room here. Yuqi drove Soyeon back to Daejeon.

I know Yuqi is staying on the room beside Minnie unnie's room and the guest room was at the end of the hallway. I heaved a deep sigh before knocking on the door. I heard some muffled sounds inside.

"Shuhua~ya can we talk?" I softly asks her as I stood still in front of the door. I was waiting for her to open the door when I heard a voice from behind me.

"Soojin you're up early. I'll make some breakfast. Can you please wake Yuqi for me?" I turned to look at Minnie unnie who was smiling at me.

I followed what she had asked for me to do. Maybe not this time. I sighed as I knocked on Yuqi's room but there was no answer so I opened the door carefully only to see a sleeping Yuqi tuck in her comforter. "Yuqi." I shake her body lightly but it was no use.

"Yuqi~ya wake up." I said raising my voice a little. She stirred up from her sleep. "A little bit more." Yuqi said with her eyes still closed.

"Song Yuqi get your ass out there or I'll drag you out." both Yuqi and I flinched hearing Shuhua's loud and cold voice. I managed to smile at her but she didn't even paid even a glance to me. I saw Yuqi getting out of her bed hurriedly almost tripping herself up.

"You cold-hearted angel." I heard Yuqi said that made me furrowed my eyebrows. "Don't forget that we aren't alone." Shuhua sternly said. Yuqi glanced at me as she smiles at me awkwardly.

Shuhua was seated beside Soojin but no one dares to talk about what happened last night. "I'm done." Shuhua said standing up placing her plate on the sink.

Shuhua was once again going out. "Where are you going?" Minnie asks though she already know where the maknae would go. "Somewhere." Shuhua said not looking back. Yuqi and Minnie were clueless on why Shuhua was acting like that hiding on her facade once again.

Soojin was getting frustrated already by Shuhua's actions. She knows that she's at fault. She followed Shuhua outside but the younger wasn't there anymore. Shuhua left her car.

"I won't stop you from following her." Minnie suddenly said making Soojin to look at her with a small smile on her face. "Just be sure to make her out if her facade. I know she's just pretending awhile ago." Minnie added causing for Yuqi to laugh all of them glared at her but Yuqi still laughed at it.

"Did you forget that Shuhua's the best actress whenever she's mad or what? She's like a different person whenever she acts like that. We should give her an award after." Yuqi wiped the tears from her face. She was laughing so hard when she remembered how Shuhua acts in front of her before.

"You better run away from here now." Yuqi didn't know what her unnie meant by that but she immediately run away from the older.

S H U H U A -

I've been sitting here for awhile now. The sun was now bright and now I'm back here again. Looking at the city below I tried to puzzle it all out.

Soojin is a descendant of Jin, Hui's first love and they look very much alike. I brushed those thoughts off as I close my eyes. I laid myself on the grass as the big tree was my shade from the bright sun. The air was refreshing.

"Your clothes would be dirty." she flattered her eyes open hearing the familiar voice although she didn't check on who it was she already know who it is.

"Shu I'm sorry if you felt that I sided him." Soojin softly said as she laid down beside me. "Your clothes would be dirty." I repeated what she had said just a minute ago. I can't stay mad at this girl for so long it's like taking my life away from me.

I heard her sobbing beside me which got me worried. "Why are you crying?" I ask worriedly but she didn't answer my question. 'Idiot Shuhua you made her cry.' the back of my head was trying to mock me.

I sat up as I carefully helped her sat up too. "Don't cry. I hate to see your tears." I caressed her head gently hugging her in the process. "You were ignoring me." she reasoned out making me chuckle at how she's sniffing because of too much crying. I kissed off her tears. I noticed her cheeks getting red.

'Yeh Shuhua effect.' I thought as I laugh a little.

"I love you always remember that and I can't stay mad at you for so long. I'm not asking for you to love me back just let me love you." I whispered to her ear.
