I just love this song so much. I apologize for the late update. Before I went on break for school, there were tests every day. I wanted to relax for at least until Christmas, but I got caught up in family stuff so I had no time. So I decided to postpone an update until New Year's.
By the way, happy New Year. Let's hope that 2021 is a better year.

Daichi was texting the group chat planning a time to meet up. It was very difficult because everyone won't stop texting if Tanaka was a simp for both Ennoshita and Kiyoko. It only took a good thirty minutes for them to notice that Daichi was asking to meet up.
They planned to meet at the park at 3:30 in the afternoon.
While all this was happening, Hinata was sitting in nervous silence. Hinata doesn't like to be waiting during such a nerve-racking situation. In fact, I don't think anyone does. Daichi, however, seemed completely calm. He accepted the fact that this is how Hinata is going to get help in his situation.
It's more than likely Hinata has a mental illness like depression, anxiety, PTSD, or all three. Daichi would like to figure that out, send Hinata's father to prison forever, and get the team to help Hinata out.
What he doesn't know is that Hinata already knows that he has PTSD and Anxiety. It's quite possible that he also has depression, but that is still a trivial matter. He would like to keep this a secret, but he knows that Daichi will ask about it sooner or later.
Daichi turns off his phone and groans. He loves the team, but sometimes they could be too much of a handful. He turns to Hinata who is sitting there nervously.
"What'd they say?" Hinata asks obviously nervous.
"We're meeting up at the park at 3:30."
That was enough to make Hinata think of all the possible scenarios. He is such an overthinker. Meeting up with the team doesn't normally make his nerves go haywire, but he's telling them something he has hidden for such a long time.
Daichi noticed how nervous Hinata was and reached over to hold his hand. They were sitting on the couch. Nothing was on the TV because there was no way Hinata was going to focus and Daichi was paying attention to his phone.
With a comforting touch, Hinata calmed down a little. His shaky hands started to shake less and he returned the hold to the warm embrace on top of his right hand. Almost immediately, he got a squeeze. He turned his gaze from the floor over to Daichi who was smiling warmly.
That smile sent the blood rushing to his cheeks and light pink dusted across his face. He only hoped that Daichi didn't notice it. In Daichi's view, Hinata looked beautiful. The blush on his face outlined his sort of flustered expression and the light coming from the window only made it more beautiful.
Their eyes were locked together. Both of them admiring the beauty of the other. To someone else, it would have looked like two lovers just enjoying each other's company.
The moment was interrupted by a certain tangerine's stomach.
"Oh, are you hungry? I can make you something," Daichi offered.
"Uh- Yeah, sure."
Daichi pulled his hand out of the comfortable hold it was in and left to go make Onigirazu (rice sandwich). Hinata's hand missed the warmth it got when the two's fingers laced together and interlocked.
Around 25 minutes later, Daichi finished cooking and was setting the table. Hinata noticed this and went to sit down. The food was placed in front of him and the glorious smell wafted into his nose. He moaned as he took a bite and it tasted as good as it smelled.
Daichi's parents went on business trips every now and then, so he had to learn how to cook. Whenever he cooked for someone else he would get compliments and would be asked to cook for them again. When he graduates from college, he plans on becoming a professional chef.
When they were both finished and that set their dishes in the sink, they were trying to decide on what to do to pass the time. It was settled that they would watch anime, specifically Violet Evergarden, because Hinata wanted some action and war seems, but Daichi wanted drama.
By the time 3:00 rolled around, the TV was turned off and they were just leaving. Since the park was close to the house, they walked there. The 10-minute walk was filled with stories and laughter.
When they arrived, most of the team was there except for Tanaka and Kageyama. The two came after five minutes of waiting in awkward silence, except for Suga who tried to start up a conversation.
"So why did you want to meet up?" Suga asked curiosity clearly present.
"It's about Hinata. He needs to tell you something," Daichi told the group. In a matter of seconds, all eyes were on Hinata.
Hinata didn't plan how he was going to tell the team. Maybe he could show them some of his injuries. His arm is still bandaged because his father dragged a blade on it. Before he realized what he was doing, his sleeve was rolled up exposing his bandaged arm.
The team stared at him in shock as he started to unwrap the bandages that hid the very painful cut that was scraped into his already scar-littered skin. The bandages were unraveled, and all eyes were staring in horror at the deep cut on the short boy's arm that seemed to go all the way up to his shoulder.
"H-Hinata, what happened!?" Asahi asked with a highly worried tone.
"U-Uhm... M-My f-father a-abuses m-e.." He stated with a panic-stricken voice.
Gasps were heard throughout the group of teens as the words settled in. A particular person who made fun of the shorty *cough* Tsukkishima *cough* *cough* felt guilty for how he treated him. If he had known, he would have never said all those rude taunts.
"Hinata would like you guys to help him if he ever had a panic attack or something along those lines. I'm making it our job to be like his therapists because he told me he doesn't want to go to therapy," Daichi explained to the group.
"Wait, you knew!?" Noya asked annoyed that Daichi didn't tell them sooner.
"I just found out last night. I told him that he should tell you guys and he accepted."
"Why was he with you last night? And how long have you been abused?" Ennoshita asked. He has always been one to ask practical questions.
"I f-forgot my bag so I-I went to h-his house. A-And I have been a-abused f-for two years.." Hinata said upset. He didn't know how the team would react since he didn't tell them sooner.
"Th-That long?" A certain raven-haired setter spoke.
A nod was made by the short sunshine who didn't seem as happy as before. Hinata wrapped his arm back up in the bandages that had bloodstains from the cut. He winced as the bandaged touched the cut, and that was enough for Daichi to take the bandages out of Hinata's hands and wrapped them for him.
The team watched and they all felt bad. If they had noticed sooner, he wouldn't have had to go through all of that for that long. Hell, he probably wouldn't have this cut right now.
"Hinata, I wish you would have told us sooner. We could have helped you! I am proud that you told us now and that you didn't keep it a secret forever. I would love to stay, but I have to go," Suga said to Hinata.
One after another, the team started leaving, but they didn't leave without hugging Hinata. Pretty soon, the only ones left were Daichi and Hinata. Hinata felt good inside knowing he had his team to help him. A weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
