"I just want to lay next to you
And listen to the beat of your heart.
I just want to close my eyes
And fall asleep in your arms.
I just want to feel you
And forget the whole world."
Hinata woke up to the sound of an alarm beeping loudly. He groaned and shifted. Daichi stirred awake but moved to get up, unlike Hinata who was still lazily laying in the bed. He nudged Hinata slightly, "You have to get up. It's time for school."
Hinata grumbled and sat up to start the morning. He stood up and turned to Daichi, "What am I going to wear? I don't have my clothes here." Daichi smiled pridefully, "You'll be wearing my clothes!"
"Wh-What!? But those are too big!" Hinata flailed his arms around.
"So? What else are you going to wear to school?"
Hinata huffed and nodded. Daichi walked over to the closet and pulled out a school uniform. He handed it to Hinata who shooed him out of the room and slammed the door. Hinata quickly got changed and felt so embarrassed to be wearing somebody else's clothes.
He opened the door and trudged to the kitchen to make some cereal or something along that line. Daichi walked into the kitchen fully dressed in his school uniform which, in fact, fit perfectly. He chuckled at the sight of Hinata wearing clothes much too big for him.
He just made some toast with jelly on it. When both were finished eating, they gathered their bags and set out on a walk to Karasuno. They chatted happily on the short walk. Daichi secretly admired the sight of Hinata in the glow of the sunrise. Much like the sunset, the golden glow framed his face perfectly making him seem much more beautiful.
They reached the high school gates and paused to have a small conversation before they had to leave for class. "Would you like to have lunch together?" Daichi looked down at the smaller boy. Hinata smiled and nodded enthusiastically. "See you later!" Hinata beamed before running off to his homeroom. Daichi smiled softly and sauntered into his homeroom class casually.
Hinata walked into the classroom and all eyes were on him. He was confused as he made his way to his desk but decided not to pay any mind to it. He was sitting at his desk peacefully until a girl came up to him. She was taller than him and had black hair with green eyes. "Um, Hinata-Kun?" Hinata looked up to meet her eyes. "Hm?" he hummed.
"W-Well, why is your uniform much bigger than usual?"
"Oh! Well, I stayed the night with a friend, but I forgot my clothes so he let me borrow his!" Hinata smiled.
"Ok. I was just confused. Have a great day, Hinata-Kun!" She waved and walked off to talk with her friends.
Hinata's cheeks flushed from embarrassment. He covered his face in his hands groaned. Why did this have to happen? The teacher walked in and started the lesson.

It was lunchtime and Daichi was walking to Hinata's class to pick him up. He stood next to the door and watched as the first years filed out of the classroom getting occasional stares from curious students. Finally, Hinata walked out of the classroom and seemed kind of surprised to see Daichi there.
"Are you ready for lunch?" Daichi smiled kindly.
"Well, I have to get my lunch and then we can eat." The two started walking towards Hinata's locker to grab his lunch.
They reached it fairly quickly and set off towards a bench just outside the doors of the school. They set their lunches next to them and started eating and conversing with one another. Daichi was pretty entertaining, and Hinata added a lot of jokes to the conversation.
Daichi had finished his lunch before him and diverted his full attention to the story Hinata was telling. He smiled softly at the wide smile on his face and quietly wished that it stayed there forever. Hinata was in the middle of a sentence when the bell rang, signaling that lunch was over. Daichi shook his head of his trance and bid goodbye to the lovely Hinata.
The rest of the day was boring, just more books and school. Hinata couldn't stop himself from falling asleep to a lecture about biology his teacher droning on about. He only woke up because his teacher hit him on the back of his head. It seemed that the end of the day couldn't come soon enough for both boys. They were just so antsy to see each other again.
Hinata was dozing off in class when the bell rang, signaling the end of the day. He breathed a sigh of relief and tiredness and packed up his belongings. He stood up and trudged to the classroom door only to jump back at the surprise of Daichi standing in the doorway. He has no idea why he was so surprised he was just out of it.
"You ready to go home?" Daichi smiled.
"Yeah," Hinata breathed.
They went out the way they came in and they were walking back to their house once more. Hinata sighed tiredly and closed his eyes slightly. Daichi laughed and ruffled his hair. They arrived at the doorstep and Daichi unlocked the house for them, making sure to hold the door open for Hinata as he trudged into the house.
Daichi smiled softly as he made his way into the house and locked the door. He loved everything about Hinata. He loved his hair, his laugh, his eyes, and especially his cute little snores when he slept. he wished it could stay like this forever.
But nothing lasts forever.
