Fools (Part 3)

Forth's POV

"Funny how I can be damn sure you will look hot as hell tonight.
Waiting to see you in person though!
-Your Admirer"

I got this note with a rose at my desk today.

This person knows that I am attending a wedding reception tonight and looks like they are attending too. I want to meet whoever this is. They are really intriguing.

I am currently waiting for Lam and Park to show up. We were supposed to leave thirty minutes ago.

But from the looks of it, they had a fight today and they have been avoiding each other. I wonder why.
Still, I hope they turn up soon. I really want to get to the reception fast.

I try to call Lam, but I see him walking towards me and apparently Park was just behind him and he looks pissed.
Something is really wrong here.

Its been an hour since we arrived and I am waiting for the Admirer to show up. I hope they do.

"Who are you looking for?" A voice nearby asks.

I turn and see Phana standing next to me.
I didn't expect him here. Even Kit is with him.

"Hey! I definitely didn't expect to see you guys here." I speak perplexed.

"Well the bride is one of our high school seniors. We had a good relationship. So here we are." Kit replies and we start conversing.

But suddenly, my eyes look past them as I see the most gorgeous person I have ever seen in my entire life.
He was wearing whole black suit with hairs styled to perfection.

Damn! He is here to kill.

He was walking straight towards me. Is he looking at me too????

He stops right before me, but turns towards Pha as he speaks, "I got stuck in traffic. But, I got the gift."

Before Pha could reply, Kit smacks the back of his head and hisses, "I thought you ditched us Ai Beam."

Beam laughingly replies, "Sorry Ai Kitty."

God! He wants to kill me. That laugh!

Someone calls Kit and he drags Beam with him. I follow them with my gaze before I hear a cough.

Pha was smirking at me. I simply glare at him because I know what he is going to say.
He just ignores me and grins before mocking, "Didn't move on yet? Poor you!"

I sigh then state, "Just look at him! How can I?"

He suddenly grows serious as he adds, "Either make a move Forth or forget Beam. Its been a almost two years since you got stuck on him."

"I have someone that I do find intriguing these days, but I don't really know the person. Plus seeing Beam just makes me realize that I can't see someone that way expect him. I am screwed." I sigh.

"Then make a move!" He simply states.

"He doesn't even like me Pha. He doesn't even talk to me. He is straight. So, let me be." I mutter.

"You are a fool Forth" He rebukes rolling his eyes at me.

I just sigh then I excuse myself as I walk out.
I saw Beam go this way. Maybe Pha was right and I should actually do something.

Whoever that Admirer is I feel sorry for them. They were trying, but I can't.
I tried to look away from Beam, but I really can't.  That guy just got me all messed up.

When I reach the parking,  I see Beam standing with someone,  but its too dim to figure out who. So I walk closer.

"Too handsome! I can't handle it." I hear Beam whine.

What?? Who is he talking to??

"Idiot!" I hear other person reply laughingly.

I move closer as I see Beam lean his head on the guy's shoulder.

I know who the guy is.
Since when are they close?
Is this the reason why Park was angry?
LAM and Beam??????

The moment Lam lift his head up, his eyes meet mine.
I am sure I look dumbfounded and he looks surprised, but I turn around.

"FORTH"

I could hear Lam shout, but I had started walking away from them.
I am definitely not stopping.
I need to get out of here.

"FORTH! Listen first!"
"FORTH"
