When I woke up I realized something was different, the air was much cleaner and was filled with magic and the room was glowing incandescently. I soon realized that I was in the Fade, how I got there or what happened to the First Enchanter were the questions that should have been running through my mind at that time but instead I found myself searching for the pendant and wondering what kind of magic could send a person to the Fade. I thought that it must have been some kind of ancient magical enchantment for nothing else came to my mind which could plausibly explain my current situation and my knowledge of the different kind of portal magics quickly eliminated all other possibilities.

Suddenly I was startled by a ghostly apparition that looked like the First Enchanter. He seemed to be crying and when I approached him the apparition disappeared and I saw the pendant fall on the floor. I rushed to pick it up and suddenly felt the massive amount of magic the pendant was emanating. It was completely different from the faint magic from before. I picked up the pendant and suddenly I felt heavier and lighter at the same time, my senses were deceiving me and whatever was the magic in the pendant was definitely behind it. I wore the pendant and suddenly I found myself casting a spell I had never cast in my entire life. It affected me somehow as I started to glow much like the room and then suddenly  a large number of demons burst into the room from the doorway and started to ransack the room I tried to stop them but I couldn’t touch them.

After a while they left and I was again alone in the mess of the room trying my best to figure out what was happening. I left the room and went down the stairs. The tower was completely different from there onwards as I couldn’t recognize a single room and I soon got lost in a maze of some sort. It took me some time to figure out the trick to the maze and exit it. As soon as I left the maze I found myself standing in a field of grass that stretched unto the horizon. The field was empty but I saw a large number of odd shaped magical stones all around the field and I carefully avoided them and then suddenly the field of grass disappeared and I was standing on a bridge.
