The one who had come forward seemed utterly confused so I went to him and asked him who he was. The expression of utter bewilderment still visible on his face he answered that he was Archonas Magdanium Codutara Tharimolus Und a rather long and complex name of some sort.
It asked me what I had done and I said that I had stopped it and its allies from attacking me. Again it asked what I had done and I replied that I had used a piece of creation to command it and the surround spirits to obey me. The expression on his face changed from surprise to deep contemplation all the while the demon continued to look for something in the surroundings. I asked it whether it would hear my tale out before reaching to any conclusion.
The spirit seemed hesitant but seeing that he had little choice he asked to hear my tale. I started by telling him who I was which didn’t seem to surprised him but when I told him about the pendant he was left bewildered and he interrupted me and asked many questions about how the pendant came into my possession.
I told him everything from the travelling mage to the First Enchanter’s attempt to destroy it. He asked me to continue on and I told him the rest of my tale from my arrival in the Fade till now where I stood in front of him along with a demon.
He eyed the demon suspiciously and cast some complex spell which went over my head as it had many unknown recitations and gestures as well as a rather powerful source link. The demon disappeared and I was for a moment alarmed but soon I realized that the spirits did not allow demons anywhere near Ulth’Wakai.
The spirit welcomed me and apologized for his previous behavior which surprised me as I thought that all spirits had a great deal of pride and would never apologize to a human for something like this. I was amazed that his personality had changed from hostile to receptive as he asked whether I knew anything about Ulth’Wakai. I thought that he was checking how much I knew but later I found out that he was merely being polite.
