"Tsukki! What are you doing here?" Yamaguchi asked.

"Well since today is basically the last day of the training camp, they're giving us a day off to do whatever we want."

"Oh alright then! What do you want to do?"

"Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to practice? I could still use your help." He stated bashfully.

"Really? Never thought you would want extra practice!" Yamaguchi teased.

"Only if it's with you though."

Yamaguchi blushed at the witty comment but stepped out into the hallway.

"Then I guess we better get going." The green haired boy said and pulled Tsukishima towards the gym.

The two first years practiced for a little over an hour before Oikawa came and yelled at them to eat breakfast.

"What are you guys doing? It's 11 and you haven't eaten yet! Go get breakfast before It's lunch!" Oikawa exclaimed.

They sighed but listened to his orders and left the gym. The cafeteria was pretty much empty as everyone else was probably really excited for the day off, though there were still a few people left behind. A few of them being Bokuto, Kuroo, Kenma and Akaashi.

Yamaguchi and Tsukishima grabbed their food and because there was basically no one, Tsukishima tried to bring Yamaguchi to a separate table away from the four. Unfortunately, Kuroo saw them and dragged them over to their table.

"Come on guys! You're acting like you don't want to sit with us." Kuroo boasted.

"There's no need for acting." Tsukishima muttered under his breath so everyone could hear and Yamaguchi giggled.

"I don't blame you." Kenma whispered as he fidgeted around with the buttons on his DS.

Kuroo and Bokuto pouted with Akaashi trying to stop them before the owl haired captain went into emo mode again.

Akaashi sighed, "so I heard you two are dating now?" He asked, trying to distract the childish captains.

Yamaguchi blushed but before he could speak he felt an arm wrap around his shoulder.

"We are." Tsukishima said and smirked.

Yamaguchi smiled with a blush even deeper than before.

"Yep!" He squeaked.

Kenma chuckled a little and Akaashi gave an encouraging smile.

"I wish you guys the best of luck with your relationship." He said.

The two smiled and nodded before returning back to their food with Tsukishima's arm still wrapped around Yamaguchi's shoulder in a protective manner.

There four upperclassmen had already finished a little while ago and it was just Tsukisma and Yamaguchi left. By the time they finished eating, it was already 12:00 and a few people were coming in for lunch but not many.

"What do you want to do for the rest of the day?" Tsukishima asked as they walked outside.

"Well I think we've earned a break from practicing, want to hang out under the sakura trees?"

Tsukishima nodded his head and had Yamaguchi lead the way. Once they reached the beautiful pink trees, the two first years laid on their backs watching the flowers fall. There was almost no noise other than the faint sounds of loud high school students in the background and the soft breeze blowing past them.

"I've always liked Sakura trees, they're so pretty and unique, unlike anything else." Yamaguchi suddenly spoke softly.

"Kind of like you." Tsukishima smiled and sat up.

Yamaguchi sat up as well, "shut up Tsukki!" He said through a peaceful smile and nudged Tsukishima with his shoulder.

They both looked at each other and their smiles slowly faded. Neither looked away and Tsukishima took it as a sign to lean in. Yamaguchi gulped and closed his eyes, leaning in as well.

Right before their lips touched, Yamaguchi placed a hand on Tsukishima's shoulder to stop them.

"I-I'm sorry. I don't- I have to go." Yamaguchi whispered.

He stood up and quickly ran away leaving a confused and upset Tsukishima behind.

Yamaguchi ran, he didn't know where he was running, he was just getting away from Tsukishima. 'I don't think I'm ready to kiss him! I really like him but I- I just don't know!' Yamaguchi thought.

He ran around a corner and unexpectedly hit someone.

"Ouch!" The person exclaimed.

"Oh, I-I'm really sorry Oikawa! I wasn't looking!" Yamaguchi bowed down quickly.

"It's alright Yama-Chan! There's no need for you to bo-" Oikawa lifted Yamaguchi's head and his words slowly faded away.

"Tadashi, are you crying?" He asked with a concerned tone.

Yamaguchi hadn't realized that his eyes were watered and he felt a tear trail down his face.

He quickly wiped his face and looked down ashamed.

"Can we talk about it Yama?" Oikawa asked and gave a supportive smile.

Yamaguchi mirrored his smile slightly and nodded. The older put an arm around his shoulder for comfort and brought him to a more private area.
