Everyone had just finished eating their dinner which consisted of eggs, ramen and bread rolls and were now on their way to get ready for bed. Sure it was only around 7 but they didn't have much else to do and they could just sit on their phones in their team rooms anyway.
"Hey um, Yamaguchi?" Tsukishima asked as they left the cafeteria together.
"What's up Tsukki?"
"I'm uh, I'm happy we were able to work things out, I was a little worried." Yamaguchi smiled slightly at this and grabbed his boyfriend's hand.
"I'm happy too!" Tsukishima nodded his head, feeling slightly embarrassed and vulnerable while showing his emotions.
"Do you possibly want to wake up early and hang out since we might not see each other for a while." He mumbled the last part and frowned.
"Hey, it's not like we live that far away from one another! I could technically come every weekend if I wanted to." Yamaguchi responded, trying to look on the brightside to hopefully cheer up Tsukishima.
"Anyways, I can wake up early if you'd like, 8 maybe?"
"Yeah that sounds good, let's meet outside the cafeteria doors." Yamaguchi nodded and they both split off into different directions.
8 A.M came about and Yamaguchi's timer set on his phone beeped loudly into his ears. He made sure to plug in his earbuds so no one else would be awoken by the noise. The green haired boy groaned but pushed himself out of bed slowly. He dressed himself before running off to find Tsukishima.
"Hey Tsukki! Sorry I'm late!" Yamaguchi exclaimed as he reached the blonde.
"It's fine, you're only 5 minutes late." He said and pushed himself off the brick wall.
Yamaguchi grinned.
"I'm glad, anyways, did you want to do anything specific?"
Tsukishima thought for a second before speaking, "I guess there really isn't much to do. Wanna go on a walk"?
"Sure, that sounds nice"! Yamaguchi replied with a smile before the two started walking.
They started to follow the nice dirt trail where they usually used to go on morning runs that had beautiful pink sakura trees hanging around. There was a slightly uncomfortable silence that hung between the two, although it was nothing too unbearable. The two eventually started to slowly ease themselves into a normal conversation and the slight awkwardness that lingered before had completely vanished.
By the time the two had returned from their cheerful walk, it was already 9 and everyone was already awake and packing. Today all the school's would be leaving the Tokyo training camp and back to their own cities.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot I-I'll be leaving today". Yamaguchi forced a sad giggle.
Tsukishima frowned.
"It's fine Yamaguchi, just- don't think about it too much. Tokyo and Miyagi aren't too far apart anyways." Tsukishima said as he tried to put on a brave face, even when in reality he was extremely upset that Yamaguchi would be 3 hours away from him.
Yamaguchi noticed his boyfriends fake expression, but didn't bring it up and instead, silently nodded his head and continued to walk.
"Oh, Yama-Chan"! Oikawa happily cheered once he finally found the younger boy.
Tadashi and Tsukishima stopped walking to pause and see what he wanted.
"Hey guys! Just wanted to tell you that I already packed for you since I finished and had nothing else to do. Anyways, we'll leave around 1:00 P.M so we can stay for lunch here and then we gotta go". He rambled once he finally caught up to them.
