Oikawa brought Yamaguchi over to a secluded area by some lonely trees. He sat down, bringing the younger with him. They sat for a minute or two, waiting for Yamaguchi's tears to slow down.

"Are you ready to talk yet?" Oikawa asked and rubbed Yamaguchi's shoulder in comfort.

Yamaguchi took a second to take a deep breath before responding.

"Yeah."

Oikawa smiled at the younger and waited for him to continue.

"Me and Tsukki were hanging out under the sakura trees and we were just talking until he suddenly leaned in for a kiss. I was going to do it b-but I got scared! I haven't kissed anyone before and I didn't know what to do so I just ran away. Gosh I bet Tsukki hates me now!" Yamaguchi said and hugged his legs to his chest and rocked back and forth.

Oikawa nodded his head in understandment.

"It's ok Yama-Chan. This isn't your fault, nor is it Tsukishima's. He didn't know that you didn't want to kiss him and I bet he'll understand if you talk to him. I know for a fact he won't hate you because you're probably the only person able to break down his shell in a long time." He comforted.

"I guess you're right, but he's only known me for two weeks. What if he thinks I don't actually like him?" Yamaguchi pouted.

Oikawa frowned.

"Well I can't do much for you, this is between you and Tsukishima. Remember, we leave tomorrow, you don't have much time to fix this." He said and gave Yamaguchi a hug.

Oikawa stood up and helped Yamaguchi up as well before walking away, leaving the green haired boy by himself.

Tsukishima stood up and swiped his shirt as if he was clearing dirt off of it. He looked in the direction Yamaguchi ran to and sighed.

'I really messed up!' The blonde thought and ran a hand through his hair and processed what just happened.

Tsukishima slowly walked away from the trees, kicking the dirt as he dragged his feet.

'Of course he doesn't want to kiss you! He probably only confessed because he thought he liked me, and then released that he just saw me as a friend.'

Tsukishima felt his eyes get blurry as water filled them. He didn't want to think about losing Yamaguchi after only dating him for one day. Was he really that unlikable?

His eyes were glued to the floor when suddenly someone bumped into him. Tsukishima brought his head up slightly, hoping that the person who he ran into wouldn't see his eyes that glistened with water.

"Oh hey Tsukki! Wanna go get lunch? Bokuto ran off somewhere with Akaashi and Kenma is probably in a corner playing on his switch so It's just you, me and Yamaguchi! Hey where is Yamaguchi anyway?" Kuroo rambled with a smile, oblivious to his underclassman's depressed state.

"I-I don't know where Yamaguchi is." He brought his eyes back to the floor, hoping he didn't start crying in front of Kuroo.

"Tsukki? Are you ok?" The older asked, suddenly becoming more serious.

"I'm fine just go away!" Tsukishima muttered and tried to storm away but Kuroo grabbed his arm and pulled him to a secluded area by some picnic tables.

"What do you want? Can't you see I don't want to talk?" Tsukishima said with a bitter and harsh tone.

"Tsukishima, calm down and take a deep breath," Kuroo started and motioned for the blonde to follow, which he did reluctantly, "good, I understand if you're not comfortable talking but I think it may help." Kuroo comforted.

Suddenly, Tsukishima could no longer hold his tears back and let them flow freely.

"Gosh Kuroo, I messed everything up! Y-Yamaguchi hates me!" He cried into the palm of his hand that was resting on both his knees.

"Woah woah woah, calm down Tsukki! What do you mean by Yamaguchi hates you, earlier today you were happily eating breakfast together!" Kuroo questioned with a frown.

He tried to talk but no words came from his mouth and he continued to cry. Kuroo sighed, he wasn't all that good with his emotions let alone someone else's!

'Akaashi should be here, he knows how to make people feel better!' Kuroo thought.

'Now isn't the time for this Tetsuro! Tsukki needs your help!' He reasoned with a sudden determined face.

"Here Tsukki," Kuroo started and shook the younger's shoulder to get his attention.

Tsukishima brought his head away from his tear stained hand and his red, puffy eyes were now focused on a blurry Kuroo.

"W-why don't you tell me what happened, I might be able to help." Kuroo said.

Tsukishima took a deep, shaky breath to calm his tears for a while before he began to talk.

"After breakfast, me and Yamaguchi decided to go up by the sakura trees and we were just having a normal conversation when I s-suddenly leaned in for a kiss! H-he looked like he was going to kiss me to bu-but he stopped us and then ran away! He probably never liked me in the first place." Tsukishima started to get even more emotional as he recalled the previous events.

Kuroo had no words, or at least none he could think of to make Tsukishima feel any better.

'Tsukki must be seriously whipped for the kid, I don't think I've ever seen him cry this much or at all for that matter.' Kuroo thought and slightly smiled.

"Listen bro, based on what you just told me, Yamaguchi doesn't hate you!" He said and Tsukishima looked up at him confused.

"I'm assuming he got nervous, that might have been his first kiss for all we know, he is only a first year after all. There's a 99% chance that he does care about you, a lot!" Kuroo comforted.

"Tch, well that means there's a chance he doesn't care about me!" Tsukishima complained and pouted.

"Come on Tsukki! Go and talk to him, you can do that right?" Kuroo asked, giving an encouraging smile before leaving the blonde boy alone with his thoughts.

Holy crap! So we now have around 220 reads and I couldn't be happier! Thank you guys so much for reading and it makes me feel a lot better about this story since I haven't been writing for a long time so naturally it's going to be a pretty bad story but I'm glad that people enjoy it! Also, I was planning on not adding the angst and just having the story end but I decided to make myself write a lot more than necessary but I don't really care that much. Sorry that this did take a week to come out and I wish you all the best of luck in 2021, we're all going to need it :/
