chapter 14

Will fell asleep in the car ride to the Wheelers, his head lying on Mike's shoulder. Mike didn't mind, he loves Will and he was so cute when he was sleeping, he just watched Will in awe as he was sleeping. Karen was driving with Nancy by her side, they were talking about random stuff. Jonathan decided not to come since he has work and school at where he lives now. As for Will and El, they hadn't gone to public school yet since El wasn't ready for it yet. But Karen was going to have a chat with Hawkins school and ask them to let them or Will in for about 1 week, she didn't want Will or El not to get an education while they were gone for a week. Mike, Will and El were all on the back seats, Mike in the middle (like always lmao) and El on his right side and Will on his left side. El was staring out the window, thinking about how she was going to see Max again. She wanted to be with Max but she also doubted that Max would like her back. El sighed sadly thinking about it, keeping her thoughts to herself. 

They just turned into Hawkins and Will was starting to stir in his sleep. Mike frowned slightly and started to shake Will awake, he didn't want Will to have nightmares. 'will....' Mike whispered still shaking his shoulder gently. Will sprung awake. Mike leaned back a bit at Will's sudden wake up. 'hey are you ok?' Mike asked quietly, taking Will's hand in his. Will nodded, 'just had a bad dream...' Mike put an arm around his boyfriend, 'what happened in it?' Will shrugged, looking down, 'it was nothing...just I was leaving you again...' Mike smiled sadly at Will. 'I get it, but you are with me now and that is what matters' Mike said as he bought Will's hand up to his lips and kissed it. Will blushed at that action and nodded. 'so...where are we now?' Will looked out his window curiously, 'oh! We are nearly back!' Mike nodded a smile on his face. He loved seeing Will happy. 

They turned into the drive of The Wheeler House. When they walked in, they had a shocked Ted looking at them from the living room, wondering why El and Will were there. Holly came running and she pulled El into a hug, 'EL!' El smiled and happily hugged back the little girl. Holly pulled El up the stairs and up to her room as Karen walked into the living room towards Ted, going to tell him that Will and El were going to be staying for a bit. While they were having that conversation: Will and Mike were helping bring all their stuff in from the car. 

El's POV

'do you wanna play El?!' Holly yelled excitedly, she hadn't seen El in a few weeks and she missed her. El nodded, 'sure Holly.' she said as she joined Mike's little sister on the ground, as Holly was getting toys out of her toy box. El looked around Holly's room and noticed how spoiled Holly probably was. She had a box full of toys and a big bed etc. Holly was the youngest of her brother and sister, why wouldn't she be spoiled? 

'so are you and Mikey still together El?' Holly said smiling, snapping El out of her thoughts and to look at the little girl. El just comprehended what Holly just said, she was seeing hope in her eyes. El smiled sadly and shook her head, 'me and Mike are not together anymore Holly...Mike likes someone else and I like someone else too! And we are both very happy.' Holly sighed at El's answer then she looked up, 'are you and Mikey best friend now?' El smiled at that comment, 'yeah, yeah we are Holly.' Holly beamed, 'can I be your best friend too El?!' El nodded once again, 'of course!' Holly wrapped her arms around El's neck, hugging her. El put her arms around the small girl also, happy that Holly was happy.
