THANK YOU - CARRIE WHITE (1)

Chapter One

Alice walked into the pool room wearing her blue bathing suit and holding her green towel as she walked in behind her friends talking and laughing with each other as the guys were getting out of the pool. Alice loved gym glass since she loved physical activity, playing different games and being in the pool room since she also loved swimming and the fact it was taught by her favorite teacher Miss Desjardin. Alice watched as Sue and Tommy walk up to each other before they embraced each other, which made Sue begin laughing before she and Tommy kissed. Alice was happy for them and wished she had what Sue and Tommy had together, with someone but doubted that it would happen anytime soon because of her secret crush on Carrie White, given the fact that Alice herself was a popular girl and a member of The Mortimer Snerds while Carrie was unpopular and had no friends.

Sue Snell and Tommy Ross, come on, Miss Desjardin to Sue and Tommy, as Alice snapped out of her thoughts and walked past Sue and Tommy. Alice noticed Carrie standing alone then Sue walking past her. Alice felt bad for Carrie and wished she had friends.

Miss Desjardin blew into her whistle before shouting "lets go ladies in the water! caps on please! Chris and Sue lets go!. Alice put on her blue swim cap tucking all her hair in, in order for her hair to stay dry before getting into the pool to play pool volleyball and hitting the ball every time she had the chance to.

Alice sat on the floor with her feet in the pool while watching the others play volleyball having fun and talking. Miss Desjardin blew into her whistle again. I want you to keep it in the air three times alright? Miss Desjardin said. Chris and Sue clapped each others hands. We are graduating, Miss Desjardin, Chris said. Alice glanced over to took at Carrie, who always stood and sat alone. The girl in the blue bathing suit on the other team hit the ball forward and Chris hit the ball. Yeah Sue, Chris said, as Sue hit the ball to the other side where the ball landed in the water. Get that, Miss Desjardin said, Don't be afraid of the ball ladies. Alice smiled when she saw Chris and Sue holding each others hands as they spun in a circle together.

Alright here we go, Miss Desjardin said. The girl in the blue bathing suit hit the ball and as it went over to Alice's side , the ball landed in front of Carrie. Alright, Carrie White, Miss Desjardin said. lets get Carrie White into the game, Miss Desjardin added. You can't stand on the sidelines all the time, come on, Miss Desjardin told Carrie. Alice was looking forward to how Carrie would do with playing Pool volleyball. Carrie serve, Miss Desjardin told Carrie. Do it, Carrie! yeah, yeah, throw it, do it, serve it, Chris said to Carrie while clapping as Carrie grabbed the ball before hitting the ball which hit Sue in the back of her head. Sue let out a sound and touched the back of her head and looked back to Carrie while Carrie looked terrified. Alice was surprised, then the girls began laughing. What the hell, Sue said. Chris put her hands on Sue's arm and shoulder before letting go as Sue turned around. Are you ok, Chris asked Sue. Yeah, Sue responded. 

Carrie began smiling and laughing which Alice noticed and wished Carrie would do it more often. Oh my God, you eat shit, Chris told Carrie, then threw the ball in front of Carrie. Carrie's smile fell into a upset look. The other girls continued laughing, which also upset Alice. Alice wished Chris would have not told Carrie to eat shit, then Carrie would still be smiling and laughing.

                                                                                        Time skip  

Alice got out of the public showers with her green towel wrapped around her body and walked up to her locker and opened the door grabbing her clothes when her hairbrush fell off her clothes. Alice quickly shot out her hand and her hairbrush stopped midair as she grabbed her hairbrush then put it back in her locker. Alice dried her body and was in the process of putting on her clothes when she heard Carrie screaming, Help! help! help me!. Get off me, you freak, Sue said, Oh my God look what you did to my shirt. Once Alice was dressed she went to see what was going on and saw a bloods hand print on Sue's white shirt. Please, Carrie cried out. Stop! stop! stop! settle down, Chris told Carrie. 

I think I'm bleeding to death, Carrie said, please. Oh my God it's period blood, Chris told Carrie. Alice looked back at Carrie and saw her white towel and both of her hands had her period blood on it. Carrie looked terrified. I'm bleeding, I think I'm dying, Carrie cried. What oh my God, Sue laughed. Please help me, Carrie cried. It's just you period, Chris told Carrie. 

Chris opened a locker door and grabbed a tampon and handed it to Carrie which Carrie grabbed. Just plug it up, Chris told Carrie. Help me! Carrie sobbed. Oh God! Chris said, as Carrie's bloody hand got blood on Chris's hand. Oh! she got you, Sue said to Chris. Help me! Carrie cried. The others began laughing at Carrie except for Alice, who just felt bad for Carrie, since Alice realized Carrie didn't know about periods because her mom and nobody else told Carrie about it. God just plug it it, Sue told Carrie. Sue and the others began throwing pads and tampons at Carrie as they were laughing. Help, Carrie screamed. The girls began repeatedly saying plug it up. Carrie fell onto the floor. I'm sorry, No! Carrie sobbed as she moved backwards. No, Carrie screamed again, then began sobbing. 

Girls come on! move, Miss Desjardin yelled, ladies, ladies, as she entered the room. Oh, my God ok alright alright, Miss Desjardin said. Help me, Carrie repeatedly said as she moved closer to Miss Desjardin. Ok honey, stand up, let's get you cleaned up, Miss Desjardin said to Carrie. Honey, stand up! come on, can you stand up? Miss Desjardin asked Carrie. It hurts! it hurts! it hurts! somethings not right, somethings not right, Carrie said. Hey, ok, ok, Miss Desjardin said. What are you talking about, Miss Desjardin asked Carrie. Sue and Alice walked up to Miss Desjardin. Miss Desjardin I don't think she knows it's her period, Sue told Miss Desjardin. No! Carrie shouted. As Carrie was freaking out, Miss Desjardin said "alright Sue, get out of here! you're not helping". Alice noticed the objects around Carrie all moving a bit away from her which she realized Carrie also had the same ability Alice had herself. Sue backed away.

No! no! Carrie screamed. Hey! hey! hey! calm down! Miss Desjardin told Carrie before she slapped Carrie in the face which made Carrie shut up. Alice and everyone else gasped in surprise at this. Alice knelt down to try and help comfort Carrie. Everyone get out! now! out! Miss Desjardin shouted at the girls. Alice heard the girls and her friends walking away. Ok ok, deep breaths come here, Miss Desjardin told Carrie, as she reached out to comfort Carrie.  Come on it's ok, Miss Desjardin added, you're ok sweetie, as Carrie moved towards Miss Desjardin. It's totally normal, Miss Desjardin told Carrie. Alice put her hand on Carrie's shoulder to try and comfort her.

Are you going to be ok Carrie, Alice asked. Do you know what it means? Miss Desjardin asked Carrie. Suddenly one of the lights went out making a electric sound which scared everyone, while the other light stayed on. Miss Desjardin and Carrie hugged, while Alice sat on the floor. Ok sweetie, Miss Desjardin said. Alice was angry at her friends and the other girls for doing what they just did to Carrie, now all she could do was to be there to help Carrie and hopefully become her friend and maybe more if that's what Carrie wanted.
