"You have the sun for a soul," She told me
After reading our favorite book for the second time.
"I'm not surprised, actually." I smirked at her. Knowing
That she was quoting Noah when he said that about Brian.
After all,
We had read this book millions of times.
We had lived it's very words, together.
I had lived Noah's poetic wonder
And she had been
Every bit the mystery
That Brian was.
We were just as starved of each other,
Felt the same shockwaves when we touched
Only to lose each other.
If only we could end up
Hand in hand
As they did.
Thinking,
Margo
