Jake

Chapter 3

Finally it's the last class. I rush to my locker as soon as the bell rings. I go straight to the bus. I get on I'm the very first on as always. I sit in my normal seat. Soon the bus is crowded with kids. None are Jake. Finally he shows up and sits down across from my seat. I smile at him and smiles back. Does he even like me at all. Probably not I guess it's better not to fuss over a boy.

Especially a guy like him. Not my type. Even though I don't even have one. He'd not be one. But he is kinda cute. But that doesn't matter. Well maybe a little. Me and him get off the bus I walk ahead I don't want to talk in person to him about that vision. I get home and wait for my phone to ring. I wait for hours. Then I give up on waiting. I knew he wouldn't call. Then a few minutes later I totally forget about it. Then finally it rings I wanted to grab it and answer straight away. But then he'd think I'm a physco who's been waiting for hours by her phone for his call. So I let it ring a few times and answer it.

"Hello?" I squeak.

"Hey" Oh my god his voice is so damn hot. What the hell am I saying.

"Hey" I breath.

"So in that vision or whatever what did you see?"

"I was in a meadow, then...well...uh I saw ... You, and you um... OK did you see that or not?" My cheeks are pink of embarrassment

"Yea, then I uh was gonna ... Well.... Kiss.. Ya." I blush at the thought.

" ya..."

"So um would you... Like to ...you know hang out later ?" HELL YA I wanted to say.

"HELL YA" I cover my mouth. I guess I said it anyway.

He laughed into the phone.

"Tomorrow after school?"

"Ya sure"

"Hey...um...Jess...your umm...I just think you should know I think your...um... I think your beautiful. OK bye!" Then the call ends I stand there. What the hell just happened. He called me...he thinks ...I'm beauitful? I sit there stunned the phone still in my hand. I feel as lump in my throat. I just sit there.

Then I  smile and shake my head in disbelief and gets up to get a snack.
