IT TURNED OUT TO not be that hard to pinpoint Diego, after all.

He was waiting outside Lee Harvey Oswald's house.

Diego is nothing if not predictable.

Five blinked us into the backseat of the car he was in. I furrowed my brow as I noticed a woman I had never seen before in the driver's seat next to him. Maybe she's also a patient who helped him escape?

"I am not trying to be a hero, okay?" he said sternly to her. Neither of them seemed to notice our presence yet.

She rested one hand on the steering wheel. "Then why are you doing this?"

"Because he is an idiot," Five spoke up.

The mystery woman nearly jumped out of her seat. She twisted around to look back at us, taken aback. "Who the hell are you?"

"Hi. We're his loving siblings," I said sarcastically, waving at her.

"Who left me to rot in the nuthouse," Diego added, shooting me a glare. The smile fell from my face, and I dropped my hand.

"To protect you from yourself," Five pointed out. He interlaced his fingers with mine and gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. Diego seemed to notice, and his eyes narrowed to slits.

"That's quite sweet," the woman remarked.

Diego shot her a disbelieving look. "Okay, all of you, out."

Five leaned forward in his seat. "Lose the crazy lady and come with us. We have important business."

Diego faced forward, staring straight out the windshield. "I am not going anywhere with you," he said firmly.

Five gritted his teeth in frustration. He glanced out the window, and his eyes seemed to lock onto something. "Okay, fine." He poked his head out the open window. "Officer!"

Just then, I caught sight of the police officer walking down the sidewalk opposite us. Immediately, I latched onto Five's arm and jerked him back. "Five!" I exclaimed.

Diego turned around and half rose out of his seat. "What are you doing?"

The corners of his lips pulled upwards into a smirk. "I hear there's a reward out for you two."

The woman rolled her eyes. "He's bluffing."

I scoffed. "Trust me, he's not." I kicked my legs up on the back of Diego's seat. The mystery woman turned her bright gaze on me, seemingly giving me a once over.

I sat back in my seat and crossed my arms over my chest, watching their little stare down ensue. I knew there was only one way this would end.

And I was right.
