"Oh umm I'm s-sorry"

"Alright go up to your room guys I have to clean the house" Amy says.

We go up to his room and he closes the door.

"Sorry I didn't know it was you" he said.

"It's ok now go put some clothes on"

"You don't wanna do anything?" he asks smirking.

"Umm Jaden Your whole family is here right now!"

"Yeah but our walls are thick enough to never make a sound" he replies.

No no we can't. We've done it one time and that's enough

"Not today. I'm sorry" I pout.

"Okay as you like. I won't force you. And I don't want you to fight with David again."

We chill and I help him with homework. When a question popped into my head. It had been worrying me and I want to know.

"Jaden? Do you like Josslyn?"

"You're serious?" I nod

"Ellie?! No of course not. You're the only one I like" He replies. My eyes go wide open and I get butterflies. He likes me...

"You like me?" I ask

"Yeah, why?"

"Oh, nothing," I reply smirking. I decided to make a TikTok.

I set my phone and told him to stand up.

"Alright Jaden. You have to catch me when I jump okay?" He nods and I press the record button

It was now 9 PM and I had to go back home.

"Bye Jae" I say

"Bye Ellie". He kisses me quickly and I leave.

I go back home and see Emily and David watching TV.

"What took you so long?" David asks.

"We did some homework and-"

"Kissed again" he cuts me off. He saw the TikTok.

"Ugh you're getting so fucking annoying"

"Alright imma leave you guys" Emily says going up to her room.

"Did you do something else?" He asks.

"NO NO NO DAVID STOP BEING SO FUCKING OVER PROTECTIVE! I'M SO OVER IT!" I shout.

"That's what I get for caring for you?! Because I love you and want you safe that's what I get?!"

"Yeah but that's my problem!! You have to warn me only! I'm not 12. I'm a fucking adult! So just leave me the fuck alone! I thought it was cool having a brother but I guess not. Why don't you go back and live with Katie?!" I shout.

"DAVID ELLIE! What is wrong now?! Why do you keep fighting like 5yr olds?" My dad asks. David ignores and keeps shouting at me.

"DAVID SHUT UP FOR A SECOND!" My dad shouts. Woah, I have never heard my dad shout.

"Now What's wrong?!"

"He's not letting me live my life with Jaden. If we kiss he's mad if we hook up he mad and even if I stay with him he's mad! He treats me like a 12 year old and I'm so over it!" I say.

"But he's using you! Can't you see it?! I'm just scared you get screwed!"

"Okay okay okay now calm down. David thank you but leave her. If anything happens you can do whatever you want. But as I see she's very happy with Jaden and he makes her smile!" My dad says.

(David's POV)

I mean my dad isn't wrong. She is happy with him. Her smile was so huge when I passed in front of her class and saw her sitting on Jaden's shoulder. But I can't. What if he hurts her? I can't see Ellie getting hurt...

I guess I'm just gonna let her live. But it's not gonna end well.

"Fine but I have one thing to say. If he ever breaks your heart, don't come to me crying your eyes out" I say. She nods

"Alright now hug. I want my children to hug each other like they used to before." Dad says.

I smile and pull her in a hug. She hugs me tight and I kiss her head.

(Ellie's POV)

"So you're not gonna be protective anymore?" I asked pulling out of the hug.

"I hope so."

"So can he come over?!!!!" I ask smiling.

"Oh no, you literally just saw him!"

"Fineeeeee" I reply.

I go back to my room and chill on my phone. I'm so happy he's not gonna be overprotective anymore.

(3rd person POV)

And that's how it goes for almost the rest of the days. Ellie and Jaden aren't official but they act like it. They kiss and hug and cuddle just like an actual couple. Ellie wants to fully trust him before dating him.

David has kinda stopped being protective but he does ask her what she does with him.

But there is still one thing that Ellie is scared of. Josslyn. She's been clingy to Jaden and is scared that Jaden will do something with Josslyn....will that ever happen? I don't think so..... or maybe? Who knows?.......
