Chapter 4

(Jaden's POV)

The guys came and Ellie left with Charli.

"Yo dude why were you with the nerd?" Bryce asks me.

"I went to ask her dad for her school project. Honestly, she's not a nerd. We talked and she's actually sweet" I reply.

"Jaden don't tell me you already li-" josh starts.

"No, I don't"

we talk about other stuff but for some reason, this girl is getting me curious about her. She doesn't believe in love. Every person that I met has either already fallen in love or adores love. But not her. Anyways what and I thinking? It's true that in the end she kinda is a nerd.....

(Ellie's POV)

I saw mads with the girls talking and laughing so I had to tell her about Jaden. He's a player and he's not good for her. She deserves better.

"Hey Mads, can I talk to you privately"

"Yeah sure" she replies. We go to my locker and I was happy Jaden wasn't here.

"Ok so yesterday as me and chars were coming back home, we saw Jaden with another girl" I say looking down.

"Oh it's ok. I know. Yesterday I went over to his and he told me. I was mad and heartbroken but you know I was dating a player" she replies.

"I'm sorry but honestly he's not worth your time."

"Yeah, thanks for telling me tho. Now I know that you'll be honest with me if anything happens" she says. I smile and we talk about a lot of stuff until Jaden comes over.

"Move our stupid nerd" he says.

"I'm not because that's my locker" I reply crossing my arms. He pulls my shirt and moves his face closer to mine.

"You're gonna move or not?" He says looking deep into my eyes. Before I could say anything, the bell rings.

"Well good job Mr. 'Hot'"

"oh admit it I am" He says.

"Why are you so cocky? Whoever told you you're hot is clearly blind."

"Oh well, I'm sure you're gonna fall for me" He says smirking.

"When you become Harry styles I will fall for you" I say.

"Ew Harry is disgusting" one of Jadens friends says.

"Shut the fuck up. His dick is bigger than your whole group of friends" I reply.

"Ooooooooooo" I hear people say.

"You're new but you don't seem like the girl to mess with" he says.

"Well maybe don't disrespect Harry"

"STUDENTS! YOU ARE ALL LATE FOR CLASSES! Come on!" My science teacher says.

First I had math which is pretty easy cuz I love math.

After math...

We had science now. I went to class with Charli and we had to work on our 'volcanos' so we had to meet up with our partners. Me and Jaden were already next to each other so we started the project. Well, I started the project because he was talking to his friends about I don't know what. All I did was put the electronic stuff like batteries and stuff. I still didn't do the outside. I put it in a plug and a big fake 'fire' comes out of the cylinder shape which is supposed to be the fire. It makes a loud noise and all the class looks at me.

"Ellie! Good job!! You did it the right way and it's amazing. Now you only have to do the outside." Ms defort says. I smile at her and Charli comes over to me.

"Good job bestie!!!" She squeezes me so tight.

"Ch-chars I c-can't bre-ath" "oh sorry" she pulls out. Jaden and the boys come over to me.

"Good Ellie we did it" Jaden says being 'happy'.

"You mean I did it"

"yeah but whatever". He says

After the class ended it was lunchtime so I went and sat with the girls. We talked about boys and crushes. They all told me about Jaden's friends so I know their names. And the worst part is that each girl likes one of them. I will never believe in love.

After lunch, we had gym class. Oh great. I got lucky that all the girls were with me. And again Jaden was with me. Every single class is with the bully or what? We're playing basketball and I'm not the best but I did take some lessons.

"Alright guys! The teams are:

Jaden Bryce josh chase Addison Charli Ellie and Cynthia.

Then the other team Blake Quinton nick Noah Amelie Madi Avani and Dixie" she says.

I join my team and we start the game.

"Everybody! Someone has to start on the waiting chair because we can only be 7!" She says.

"Ellie you're the one on the chair!" Jaden says. I say nothing and just sit. I prefer sitting to playing basketball as I am a very short person.

A few minutes later

Our team lost. No one could make it in the basket. Now it was my turn to play and Cynth has to sit. We started and I was moving around the gym.

"CHASE HERE!" I scream lifting my hands and shaking them for him to pass it to me. He passes it to me and I catch it. I turn around and throw the ball into the basket. It rolls around the metal part but then falls in.

"Good job!" Chase says high giving me. All the boys high five me and we continue playing.

End of the game

This time we won. Believe it or not, I was THE only one who got us points. Well, Jaden did get it in the basket one time but if not it was 18-6 for us. We finished and it was finally the end of the day. Me and chars are meeting at a park close to my house to talk and chill after school. I said bye to the girls and went back home...
