Bens POV
I cracked my eyes open to see a blurry shape above me. At the time my mind was groggy and blurry, so I had no idea what was going on. I heard some shouting and someone scolding someone. I felt someone gently lift my limp arm and wrap something around it, then someone gave me with cool medicine, which helped my dry lips.
I opened my mouth just a crack and a groan escaped my lips. "Whaaarrrrr?"
Then I saw a flying monkey. It twirled in the sky and- wait that couldn't be true.
"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" I said, with a dreamy smile. "Flying monkeyyyyyyy." Then darkness took over and I blacked out.
I woke up once again to the sound of yelling, shouting, scolding, and barking. Wait-barking? There were animals here too?
Maybe it's a rescue place, my mind mumbled.
"Whaa?" I asked, trying to sit up. I tried pushing myself but then I felt a sudden explosion of pain and I flopped back on the mat I was on. I turned my head to see the beautiful girl with raven black hair and icy blue eyes laying beside me, sleeping. "Erica?"
How did I know her name? I don't believe we had ever discussed our names...
*FLASHBACK*
Me and her dangling from a helicopter.
Me and her defusing a bomb together.
Me and her running for our lives.
Me and her together.
Spy school.
Zoe.
Erica.
Mike.
Catherine.
Chip.
Everyone else.
It was so overwhelming, the sudden flashbacks. My mind was spinning every direction, hopelessly loss.
"How could I have forgotten you?" I whispered.
Then I blacked out once again.
A/N: Sorry, this isn't my best work. I just kind of wanted to write this, but there will be more action later and I MIGHT edit this. Probably not though.
