"HOPEFULLY this doesn't sound creepy but, I absolutely adore your voice!"

Y/N was completely oblivious to the damage she'd done to Wilbur with that one sentence. It took him a good 30 seconds to comprehend what she'd said before his face started to heat up.

Tommy and Tubbo seemed surprised at this statement too, Tommy looked ready to say something and Tubbo just looked surprised. Wilbur tried to get his thoughts straight and shook his head to clear them.

"t-thank you...I guess..."

he shook her outstretched hand and did his best to muster a smile despite his flustered state. Truthfully, he felt ecstatic about the compliment. Wilbur had always been the kind of person to fall easily, but even he was shocked at how fast he had fallen for this girl. He glanced at Tommy for a second, to which Tommy immediately perked up, clearly thinking Wilbur was going to talk to him.

Wilbur turned his back to Tommy, and looked at Tubbo.

Tommy deflated and glared at Tubbo, quick to switch moods.

"Tubbo, do you think you can stay on watch for a few more hours?"

this caused Tommy to immediately jump up in surprise, Wilbur noticed. Honestly, he had only done that because he knew Tommy would get jealous, and he had been getting on Wilbur's nerves recently.

TOMMY was far from a cautious person, let alone a responsible one. Yet for some reason, he couldn't fathom the idea of Wilbur not asking him to do something important. 'He even asked Tubbo of all people!' Tommy thought. 

So, Tommy was slightly annoyed at this. And was ready to talk to complain to Y/N about this, despite having just met her. After all, Tommy definitely noticed how Wilbur looked at her. 

Wilbur warily looked between Tommy and Y/N, to which Tommy smirked, getting an idea nearly immediately.

"HEy Y/N! WANNA GO LOOKING FOR NETHERITE WITH ME?!"

The eccentric boy exclaimed in a tremulous tone, turning to face the girl. Out of the corner in his eye, he could see Wilbur look worried, most probably because of how dangerous the Nether can be. The girl looked slightly surprised, but mostly confused. Which confused Tommy quite a bit. Had she never heard of the Nether before?

"Tommy, I don't think that's a good idea."

Tommy froze. Wilbur's voice sounded cold, almost dead. A voice Tommy wasn't used to hearing. Warily, he turned to look at Wilbur and felt dread fill his body.

Wilbur stood looking at Tommy, with dead eyes, a layer of anger hidden underneath that only he could see. This was a side of Wilbur he hadn't ever seen, and one he never wanted to see again. He glanced at his best friend to ensure that he wasn't the only one seeing this, and felt himself deflate as he seemed to be conversing quietly with Y/N.

"Can I speak to you, in private, Tommy?"
