HE had officially given up on finding a trap to run into.
Once again, luck was completely against him and didn't allow him to set off a trap, let alone find one.
George was devastated.
All he wanted was to get stuck in another trap, so that his savior could save him again! That way he'd get to talk to her, and this time he wouldn't let her leave so easily.
Sitting down next to a random tree, he pulled out his communicator and scrolled through the people who were awake.
Wilbur. Sapnap. Dream. Tommy. Technoblade. Eret. Y/N.
He stopped at Y/N, and tapped on her name, bringing up more options.

George decided to tap on "call", despite not knowing how busy she was. He waited a bit as it rang, hoping she'd pick up.
"Hello? George?"
He perked up, and he felt his heart beat faster at just hearing her voice. His thoughts practically melting away into nothing, as he was finally able to hear the voice he'd been longing for.
Now if only she were here in person.
"Yes, it's George-I called to check up on you, and to see if you'd like to hang out sometime?"
He awaited her response, hearing only breathing for a while, before he heard someone in the background of the call. He frowned, not recognizing the faint voice.
"Who are you calling?!"
He could hear her movement, as she responded to the mystery person.
"Mind your own business! I'll be right there!"
Okay, at least she wasn't going to hang up on him for someone else. George spoke, trying to keep the venom out of his voice.
"Who was that?"
"That was Fundy, a friend of mine. And yeah, I'd love to hang out sometime, just-right now isn't really a good time."
What did she mean? Was it the other person-Fundy? Did she already have plans with him? Was he not important to her-no. No way. George was obviously important to her, she saved him! And they were soulmates, she just didn't realize it yet.
"Why? Is something wrong?"
She was quick to respond this time.
"Well, a couple hours ago we found one teenager dead, and now we're dealing with that teenager's best friend speedrunning the stages of grief."
